That remains to be seen. I'm sure there will be an ending where the Emperor MC will be able to publicly take another "official" wife, which would be Elin, Seraphina, Lia, or Cass.

If not that, then his official harem (of Elin, Seraphina, and Lia) would birth him children he could always officially recognize as heirs.
I think it's unlikely Mc will ever have an official wife that isn't either Aurora or isis, or have official children reconized as heirs. Espically those from his family

To that, I would say that the whole damn point of being a "bad" MC and making violent choices would mean he gets to become another Red Emperor, and after everyone is afraid of him, he could easily declare Seraphina as his Queen & wife again.

I don't really think it has anything to do with being a bad emperor or not, I just think it's unlikely it's going to happen. Espically since the Red Emperor route is basically Isis's route in the first place and in the Green Emperor route Cass doesn't seem like she even wants to get married, Seraphina also doesn't seem like she wants a public relationship with mc even if she can be convinced to start a secret one. I don't think either of them are ever going to be the MC's queen no matter how their relationship goes. That leaves Elin and Ophelia and I just find it ultimately unlikely that he'll official marry any of them and not just keep them around as mistresses wth their children having no claim to the throne.

After becoming the emperor Elis will be able to bend the rules surely. It makes sense if you look at real world history too. There have been many kings who have taken multiple wives, so it’s not like it’s impossible to justify. The status of emperor is even higher.

It also makes sense from the tags standpoint as the dev has said there will be a harem. The MC was able to marry either his mom or sister in the previous game too.

Personally, I would prefer to have the multiple official wives ending.

The way I see it right now, the MC has to have one official wife which is Aurora or Isis since his rule is fragile at best with the westland being a distraction from his vassals due to cass coup regardless of outcome and he needs alliances. Seraphina, Elin, Cass, Ophelia will all be secret relations at the moment due to incest. Remember the common folk where already laughing at the MC's depiction as an incest lover (Which is the case and they might see him as a laughing stock if revealed it was all true). Furthermore, you also got to remember that even Regis who stabilized the kingdom had to murder Cass's Mother in order to marry Seraphina to fulfill the prophecy.

Honestly, I am okay with Aurora's/Isis's children be the official heirs while everyone else's is unofficial children.

I want to see what would happen if you mix the good choices and the violent choices. For example, you kept the golden order but made Val your sex slave or took the farmer's wife.

Like I said I don't think it has anything to do with bending the rules or not and more personal interest from the characters from the other characters. Elin is the only one who might want to get married, the others don't really need to marry the mc or seem like they want to and would be content with just being in a secret relationship with mc. I don't think Mc marrying anyone else is in the cards at all.

Also the point about Emperors and multiple wifes thing doesn't really make any sense at all and isn't really true. The cultures where Emperors had multilple wives is in cultures where all monarchs had multiple wives. Not every culture does that though, it has nothing to do with being emperor in particular. Unless Mc can change the cultural stigma towards it the entire point is completely irrelevant.
Buddy, this is a fantasy world we are talking about. A fantasy world inspired by our real medieval history - where emperors, kings, khans, cezars often took multiple wives, concubines and shit. They literally had a choice of legitimizing their bastard children and give them the right to ascend the throne one day.

Once MC establishes himself as the next Red Emperor, a harem of his own sisters & mother is not out of the realm of possibility. Even taking one of them as his new wife could be explained away.

Does it really matter if MCs dozen concubines aren't allowed to be his official wives (says who, who is telling the king what to do)? What's practically the difference if Aurora or Elin or Seraphina or Iris or whatever is the official queen? MC can fuck everyone else all the same and he doesn't care about heirs, since they only come around once he is dead. Except for like Dom Cass or Iris, none of the girls would dare to question MC and tell him what to do.

In fact, a king does not have that much freedom, and if we take into account that this game is set in the medieval period (to a certain extent, of course), it is necessary to analyze that a king only remains in power if he manages to please his army and his people.

Taking another historical reference, the list of emperors assassinated by the Praetorian Guard is quite extensive, and this happened, in some cases, because certain leaders simply did what they wanted without taking into account the opinions of others.

So if the dev takes these aspects into account in order to make his game more believable, then I think that simply "doing whatever you want and screwing everyone over" will generate consequences at some point in the plot.

Considering the premise of the game and what we already got, we can safely assess that the dev does not take harsh RL politics in account regarding the MC (everyone else can die, true enough).

MC can't get hurt, he can barely lose girls (unless he explicitly decides to do so), everyone around him solves his problems, every opposition is practically only there to make him succeed and overpower them. The conflicts and scary preomonitions in this game exist to scare the player into (falsely) believing that MC can and will fail, when instead he overcomes everyone of them just by marching through the plot.

Were there any bad long lasting consequences for Mc? No. Were there early Game Overs? No. Were there drastic branches that lead to a significant unhappier Mc? No.

I like the game for what it is, but I'm not fooled into believing that it gives MC a difficult time and that he will ever truly struggle to maintain his power or fail to get the woman he wants. The game until now was just too easy for that -> power fantasy.

I mean its up to LM on what he wants to do. Because he does have a consequence brewing if you executed cass or have isis poison cass for you, its pretty dark. This doesn't take into account if you took the val dark path and also did the dark path of elin. Speaking of Elin, you do lose her path if you decide to not intervene .

What I am trying to say is instead of going for everyone maybe its better to just settle on making them unofficial secondary spouses or concubines away from public eye for obvious reasons. This also gets in line with isis who said that she will murder ANY of your other children should they try to contest her children's throne.

Plus like the post above yours, the power derived from loyalty of the vassals and sometimes that loyalty is questionable that many kings had to appease other powerful vassals to help them. This explains Cass's motive in the green path to make the western nobility vassals focus on the war in the west and have a respected, loyal regent who approves of the war back at the capital.

Not for me at least; I'm on the path to the green crown, and at least so far, not every aspect of my gameplay has been a power trip.

And I think that's a good thing, because in this game there are challenges for our protagonist, this shit isn't desert stalker where it seems like god chose our character to be a hottie who gets all the women without any immersion.

Fuck these fucking people, these fucking insecure users who can't see another dick without crying in the fetal position

But thats precisely what this game is. Is any man other than MC getting any pussy? No, they all get cucked by MC.

Do you have any idea what game you're playing? You're on this pointless rant while playing the exact same shit you purport to hate.

This game is a pure power fantasy. You play a chad king who fucks everyone he wants. What are you even on about??

Entertainment is mostly escapism, the fact that porn VNs play to people's fantasies of what they can't have irl isn't rocket science.
Pretending it's anything but that to insult others is in itself insecurity lol.

Speaking of that consequence of killing Cass... *insert we're-waiting.gif*. Hopefully, I won't have to wait until Chapter 3 to see those consequences...

And yes, I agree that it would make more sense if MC simply kept his sisters & Seraphina as concubines that would birth his bastards instead of trying to marry them (and inviting a world of hell into his life as king).

However, as this is a fantasy game, I fully expect the MC to be able to make either Elin, Lia, Cass, or Seraphina his official Queen. I don't think LM is planning anything less than - no matter how much we may believe that IC is telling a dark story, the truth of the matter is that IC is still a "power" fantasy in the end.
