No, but if you come back in from a work-out, and sit down to watch a sitcom, you should end the sitcom with considerably more stamina than you started it with.Are you saying that if I just sit on my couch watching TV all day, I'll never get tired?
Perhaps splitting the energy value into an Energy and Stamina value would be better. Physical activities like working out or walking to work would drain Stamina fairly rapidly, but not particularly drain Energy. Stuff like watching TV would restore Stamina, but drain Energy - the only way to regain Energy would be to sleep. So when the player wakes up in the morning, they have 100 Stamina and 100 Energy. They get dressed, go to work by walking, work, and return by walking. When they get home, they have low Stamina - maybe 20 or so - but their Energy is still at 60-50. So they sit down to eat, watch some TV and relax on the couch for a few hours. Now they have 40 Energy, but 90 Stamina; almost back to maximum. Then they can go work out.
The objective would be for Energy to get low around 8 PM or so, and to actually hit zero if the player remained awake until 1 or 2 AM. Whereas Stamina would fluctuate much more rapidly and be refilled once or twice every day of regular gameplay.
