State of v0.67 and general stuff
Hi guys,
Update on v0.67
After my 'tour de graveyard' holiday break, I came home and got sick (just the flu). Today, I finally feel well enough to work on v0.67, so that’s what I am doing. I want to take this opportunity to address some questions that have popped up in private messages and on various forums, which I find worth responding to.
So what will be in v0.67 ?
The next update includes two erotic scenes, focusing on swing/NTR. My original plan was to release it on November 12th, but I feel that one week is too close for comfort. Therefore, there might be a few days' delay. However, this largely depends on my work rate until the 12th. If my productivity remains high and nothing unexpected happens in my private life, I might still meet the deadline.
What are the plans after v0.67 ?
After v0.67, the next version will be v0.7x, marking the start of a new arc. This will be a major and important arc that leads me to make the first significant split in the game's story, with two paths that are exclusive to each other. However, this presents a problem:
I can either work on both at the same time, which means very slow progress overall, or do them one after the other, which allows for faster progress but means you’ll have to wait at least a month for the other path. If you don't make the right choice in the story, you won't see new content until then. I tend to favor doing one after the other as it will allow for a faster overall pace and it allows me to better focus on that part of story to do a better job.
What about the future ?
After the v0.7x arc, the two paths will again join for a finale in the v0.8x arc, which will be relatively short (but expansive due to C&C) and then proceed into v0.9x, which will bring various endings. Originally, I planned to complete game development by the summer of 2025, but due to a slight expansion of some scenes and how the creative process works when translating a rough story into its final form, I can already see that v0.7x will take time until at least the end of January, possibly even February. The v0.8x arc should be finished by March, I think. Originally, I planned to finish v0.8x by the end of this year and then leave half a year for endings (my endings are quite comprehensive, involving more than just 2-3 scenes as people usually do). So with those endings, version 1.0 should be out by the fall of 2025.
Some stuff.
Originally i planned this game to be 8 hours long max but it kind of grew a bit especially script wise. When endings will start to be made I will also be going over whole game and see where i can trim down some fat as game will easily expand to 10h+ in some endings. It's better to be lean and mean than bloated and sleepy. I will also revisit game start to get it up to snuff with rest of the game as my work improved a lot since i started the project.

So the last bathroom choice will decide if she will cheat or not.
The walkthrough mod didn't help, searched for the walkthrough for the particular scene in the forum and did exactly what was told in them but still couldn't unlock those 3 images or get 100% dialogue.

good and everything, but...
you give so much effort to create those scenes and animations but it's so dark.. I do understand, atmosphere and all, but the effort is wasted through the darkness. and when I put on the lighting more, then the white text is burning my eyes..

good game, but I would pour sleeping pills in Henry's worm. (sorry but I don't like being the cuckold on duty).
perkel666 few pointers
1. make the lighting better. especially in the night/dark scenes. no one wants to strain their eyes try to catch a glimpse of what's going on.
that against the walls scene is one of the best i've seen. but its annoying AF cos of that awful lighting.
2. this applies only if you're looking to earn the big bucks. if not ignore it. Most guys here subscribe to the one dick per fantasy model. that's where most of the money is. you can always create additional and costlier tiers for custom requests for those ntr/cuck/swingers lovers. but that is only if the game is popular and enjoyable enough. the models and your animations are pretty great, but i just can't stress enough just how awful the lighting is.
another thing is, you have very limited resources at hand and you can only create a limited amount of content for each update. so if you're putting in those resources into those ntr/swingers scenes not only will you be driving away a vast majority of the potential subs, but even if you made those scenes optional/avoidable that would just mean there's lesser content to go through for the ntr haters. if anything you could just refer to such scenes in dialogues (off camera) if you absolutely want them in the game. But i strongly suggest you remove all hints of them if you truly want to succeed and earn a lot, cos i don't need to tell you just how much hate there is against not just ntr, but multiple dicks in the scenes. honestly its a waste of time and effort for a new and upcoming dev such as you. you can do such scenes at later stages or even as custom requests for higher paying tiers which is the path i would suggest you take.
even though most people here are just pirates and free players, you should look to capitalize on it so that atleast they leave you great reviews and high rating (4+ ideally) which inturn will increase your visibility to those paying players. the obvious downside to this is you can't really create the game that you envisioned and to a certain extent you need to adhere to their wants and needs. but at the same time you can't give in completely and do only what they want.
3. don't try to overcomplicate the game and overburden yourself by making multiple paths in the game. use the first game to establish yourself and gain a solid following. if you were able to create larger updates then this wouldn't be an issue.
people usually wait for weeks if not months for each update, so if you maintain a single path atleast they'll have a decent amount of content to play through with each update. most people are just looking for something to fap to, so they aren't overly inclined to play through the game multiple times to go through all the content in all the paths. and again since there's so much hate for ntr content, those additional paths are something they will actively try to avoid.
4. this is probably the most important point. remove that "lines of text" bit from your changelogs. that's absolutely worthless. we get it, you put in a lot of effort, but listing how many lines of dialogue is in the game doesn't exactly paint you in a good light. because at the end of the day all the players care about are how many images or animations are in the game/each update. and putting in the lines of text is just like a misleading way of trying to show that there's a lot more content than there actually is.
all said and done, i hope you take this as constructive criticism and not merely some negative feedback. the game has solid potential and i'd hate to see it get abandoned like many of the great games on here simply because you aren't getting the backing you expected. all the best and i hope you succeed.
