Yeah, my hope for AtemX is that a lot of those who loved AF will help give this game a nice head start. 15 pages of comments on the first version is already a good sign, maybe!
The combination of Emily's looks and the tags just turned me off. Usually when there are different paths (corruption, love, ntr, sharing..) you do get lots of intersections where you kind of get the feeling that had you chosen the other path, you would now watch the character standing before you rail your girl and that's a bit of a turn-off, even if it doesn't happen in my playthrough, if that makes sense? Even The Tyrant had a love path, but it felt so.. wrong.
I played AlwaysFan - but it took me a while to try it out. I've seen it pop up in the Latest Games & Updates tab a lot of times, but was hesitant. I played the Love, as well as NTR route and found it well done.
It's just a little niche, which means you fish in a smaller pond as a dev. The only thing that's "bad" in hindsight was the visuals. The game was hot, the writing good, with tons of content and as you say, some lessons to be learned.
As for Inanna, yeah, maybe there's a lot of content already, but I like to start at a point where some relationships are well established. I loathe the whole slow burn thing at this point and like to skip the whole download -> see if this update finally has progression with my favorite character -> disappointment -> repeat next update-cycle. I think it's spoiled a couple of games for me now, so I'll just give it a bit of time and have a look in here every now and then.
Thanks guys!
