Generally speaking, you couldn't fuck the whores (and in some cases priestesses, but more often slaves) for free. In fact, some of these cults enjoyed great wealth because they had very faithful worshippers who attended regularly. That is, they would go to the brothel attached to the temple to sleep with whores whenever they could.
In the end they were expensive brothels run by a small group of madams, who were the priestesses, and who generally engaged in matters unrelated to prostitute themselves (they left the part of being a whore to the slaves).

Secondly you can't just show gems like these, then make their soma incompatible with the MC, make them sad, and not give them to the MC, seriously this is big crime you did here... You really wasting some character models on characters you shouldn't.
She is not ugly for sure, but compared these two? Seriously you have chosen this model over those beauties? I have no words...

I thought the maid stuff was going to be a one and done situation. So I was fine with the 1st girl. And after we started cycling through. I was sure the demon looking one was going (not gonna lie, I did want her) to be chosen. But I'm fine with the one we got. I know, I know. Objectively speaking, one could say the others are more attractive/appealing. And those who know who she is supposed to represent. Might've wanted something new.... however.
....I am not objective! and we going by feels!
She is the most beautiful out of the choices. She will be amazing and is going to be one of the best girls. I will die on this hill alone if I must! Now maybe we could've gotten one of the milk girls AND her. It's a big castle, we need staff, and one can never have enough magical calcium options. Hell the demon could've been strawberry flavored, and I like variety with my cereal. But tis what it tis. We still got quite a few LIs left to be revealed. I'm sure we will get to stick our junk into many magical/mystical holes. Maybe the dev will get a lil bit weird with it.... just a thought.

I still didn't got to that part of the update because I'm starting fresh and not from the end of the 1st update, and lack some context but if you played AlwaysFan and notice that the MC here is a Emilie fan from the first scene of the game, you understand why he chose the 3rd one, the resemblance with Emilie for sure. But again I lack context on the story, I'll get there eventually. I probably would chose her too for the very same reason.

I love to read reactions of people who are not yet familiar with AtemX games and discovering this underrated gem. Enjoy your stay, you won't regret it
I got through the update, but only excitedly passing through so I will no doubt go back and polish my perfect pathway as this update seems more dimentional than the first one. There is a lot to unpack and explore. Some people may notice there are a lot of inspirations from other works, mainly anime, in this game, but to put those into same space and make them work in harmony is a feat in itself. I view them as cute easter eggs rather than much more negative view some may have that it is plagiarism or something.
If we compare the first update to this one I am astounded at how much the world we are just beginning to discover flourishes. It literally and figuratively went from tiny cozy village to complex functional city. I knew AtemX loves some gameplay elements rather than just visual novel aspect of it, but I thought combat would be the ceiling with it - discovering realm management system worried me at first, but since it's done in such a simple to understand way I quickly relaxed and perhaps even looked forward to seeing stuff change there and excited wether I will be able to govern properly.
Regarding sex scenes, it always amazes me how within such a work of art there can be these steamy scenes that just pull the lust out of you within seconds - for a pervert like me, I am happy for this dynamic
And last but not least, the absolutely open ended, speculation inducing and thrilling end we got, at once again a great point to pause. I'm sure each of us have our own theories, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are all wrong and AtemX cooks up some crazy mystery in the end.
There are also some cool mysteries sprinkled through the game, perhaps most notably the dark figure in the hallway when MC was complaining about draft in the hallway. If you are reading this fellow forum user, don't hesitate or wait for more updates, try the game now and let yourself discover the AtemX effect!

yeah its clear its a tribute ,as for context she's a albino girl in his other VN "alwaysFan" so its safe to assume the Vampire trait making her hair white ,red eyes and skin tone are also a tribute to alwaysfan.
The only thing i found ridiculous was the reaction from the women about the MC not liking their "soma" ,i get that its their purpose and all that,but surely how it all works finding someone that doesn't agree with the taste isn't a rare thing.
perhaps with him having to same reaction to most off them it'd be considered more rare thing but they all had over the top emotional responses , as slaves acting and doing so towards a customer reflects badly.
this is probably done so that when it was emilia's turn and that her soma tasted good it should've given everyone the idea that she's special etc.
so yeah i expect her to get forced onto the mc more in the future.

I don't think it was because he didn't like their milk, as you said that's probably fairly common. It was his extreme reaction, which I'm guessing isn't as common, such as spitting it out and yelling that it tastes like vomit. I got the impression that in most cases it isn't the maids milk tasting bad that gets them rejected, it's that the ones that match up well with the owners mana just taste noticeably better. So they're probably more used to incompatible masters passing because their soma is bland, not horrible.
Even the slave trader seemed kind of shocked at how extreme the MCs reaction was to many of the maids milk.

you're probably right on that, which makes me more convinced its all done to put the"she special" spotlight on emilia.
its fine that Atemx has a personal favourite,i just hope i won't cast a shadow over the others

I am still in ep.1, but just knowing she is coming is a slight damper. I feel like her just being here will automatically cast a shadow over some characters.
I don't mind a one off or soemthing, but knowing she is a LI, just makes me fear about other girls, like are we going to give her more time than a Carmen or Selene, etc.
I don't know, this is just the one thing that I wish the dev didn't do, cause I rather leave Emilia in the past and focus on the characters in this game that I like a lot like Sylvia, Kayane, Carmen, etc.
I just wish the dev would change his mind on this but that unfortunately won't happen.
