Never thought I'd see the day dessolos degrade an LI. Poor Emilia... just searching for some cuddles and instead becomes IR's least popular romance option.Still playing my first playthrough and the only Negative and thing I hated so far

haha she was my least favorite in the other game as well. ngl I disliked her becoming part of the harem so much in this one I plan to actually be mean to her as long as it isn't too dark or anything only because it's another game with the same model lol. My way to say if im stuck with her i'm gonna treat her like I would if she was just a NPC in any other RPG I don't care about. I'm not even gonna have sex with her. Which is funny to me cause I was at least nice to her in the other game even tho I couldn't stand her mostly cause her appearance was too creepy for me.Never thought I'd see the day dessolos degrade an LI. On a different note, I'm curious as to how many people went the revenge route with the princess.

I just tried out the revenge bit solely out of curiosity. After seeing people freak out when it dropped. But other than that.... eh. I don't think we lingered enough on what he went through. For me to feel all that vengeful. And what we did see didn't really move me. So I honestly never felt much hostility towards her like that.On a different note, I'm curious as to how many people went the revenge route with the princess.

Honestly if she just came out of nowhere I would have been like... whatever, I guess. But the fact that she showed up and was picked after like 4 more interesting characters made me roll my eyes all the way into the back of my head.Still playing my first playthrough and the only Negative and thing I hated so far

Revenge route all day, everyday. Honestly I would have preferred more ruthless, but this will do..Never thought I'd see the day dessolos degrade an LI. Poor Emilia... just searching for some cuddles and instead becomes IR's least popular romance option.

I've got a soft spot for characters like the princess. She's a victim of circumstance who at least deserves a second chance at proving what she says during our interrogations of her.Yeah the princess I went from wanting revenge on her to well someone I was able to forgive as I see the father and the court mage whatever his name is as the real enemies and targets for the MC's revenge. While not an excuse and doesn't make what she has done any better. I saw the princess going along with everything as her means of survival as it seemed like she had no real power as long as the court mage was around.
Agreed. The amount of exposure we get to the MC's torture is too minimal to feel the kind of impact one should feel. The king is at least being set up better in terms of motivating us to dethrone him.I just tried out the revenge bit solely out of curiosity. After seeing people freak out when it dropped. From what I've seen in the dev logs it seems the revenge route is going to be fully wrapped up in Episode 4. Considering Regina gains a mental health gauge on the revenge route I imaging the more ruthless options are the only way to make that bar reach 0, which I then assume is going to end with a mentally broken princess.Revenge route all day, everyday. Honestly I would have preferred more ruthless, but this will do..
It felt good to punish that bitch, but afterwards I felt sorry for her and changed my mind. But not before giving him a good anal spanking.

Honestly? I went the revenge path and didn't feel any remorse lol. She treated folks like shit and looked down on folks and even if she was in the dark of how some things transpired, she knew folks were being fucked over because of her. No regrets going the revenge route honestly.Never thought I'd see the day dessolos degrade an LI. Poor Emilia... just searching for some cuddles and instead becomes IR's least popular romance option.

I just think losing the top hat would be enough tbh. I really have no idea what the dev was thinking with that, unless they were trying to do a Jojos-esque, "so incredibly lame that it loops around to being totally awesome" but just missed the mark.Fun game with an OK story and some decent characters.
But my god PLEASE change the MCs outfit, that Top Hat and stuffy jacket make him look like a 10 year old larping as the monopoly man, its truly ridiculous to try and take him seriously when hes got some barely fitting tophat glued to his head
Agreed, freudian excuses be damned, she treated people and towns like disposable trash and had not even one iota of remorse for any of her actions, or even a compelling motivation beyond her wanting superpowers so she doesnt feel embarassed. who cares how badly her dad treated her? being treated like shit doesnt give you the excuse to treat random innocents like shitHonestly? I disagree about the remorse but that is a bit subjective. As I personally got a remorse feeling with her facial expressions in the renders from her during the convo which is ultimately what made me decide to forgive her. I was hell bent on getting revenge on her up until the scene. Tho I also shift more of the blame on her father and the royal court mage. Yeah it doesn't excuse her or anything but it enough for me to forgive her.Agreed, freudian excuses be damned, she treated people and towns like disposable trash and had not even one iota of remorse for any of her actions, or even a compelling motivation beyond her wanting superpowers so she doesnt feel embarassed. who cares how badly her dad treated her? being treated like shit doesnt give you the excuse to treat random innocents like shit
I know she looks a tad conflicted during her trial, but I mean remorse before she got defeated and is facing punishment. After that, its just crocodile tears.I disagree about the remorse but that is a bit subjective. wasn't the trial bit but when she was in the dungeon where I changed my mind right before you can torture her or worst to her. But honestly I think if it wasn't the fact she wasn't tortured herself on orders from her father along with me feeling some remorse from her I wouldn't of changed my mind about her. That changed things alot as I started to feel maybe she had no power to stop it and just kind of went along with it as a means of survival and was her way to cope with her shitty situations. Tho that is my own Interpretation.I know she looks a tad conflicted during her trial, but I mean remorse before she got defeated and is facing punishment. After that, its just crocodile tears.
Even if she had an attitude of "im sorry for what you went through but it was necessary i didnt have a choice" i could be on the fence, but she was all "you disgusting maggot how dare you deny me my divine will, you will be tortured 300x as much once i lock you back up" until the last minute.
I believe it was Regina herself who mentioned that being born to royalty under a powerful line of mages as a non-mage put more stress on her than if she had mana. Sure she was complicit in letting her dad and court wizard control her, but despite her predicament she was still raised with certain expectations regarding her status in the world.I know she looks a tad conflicted during her trial, but I mean remorse before she got defeated and is facing punishment. It's a pretty tough balance to strike, because too much exposition early on would have ended up feeling tedious or repetitive for some players, especially right at the start of the story. That's why I chose to handle it through an ellipsis and focus more on the length of his ordeal rather than detailing every moment. It was a dilemma that stayed in my mind a lot during the early stages of writing.I just tried out the revenge bit solely out of curiosity. After seeing people freak out when it dropped. But other than that.... eh. I don't think we lingered enough on what he went through. For me to feel all that vengeful. And what we did see didn't really move me. And I'm really glad to see the same thing happening on the players' side. Some ended up changing their opinion of her and decided to give her a chance, while others stuck to the path of vengeance and felt satisfied with that choice. To me, that means I didn't miss the mark with the writing, and that I provided enough context at this point in the story for both options to feel valid. It's an interesting dilema that nicely ties into the underlying morality mechanics. Those who are more ruthless will probably be quick to get revenge on Regina (i.e. Lady Blaze), while your more compassionate players will lean towards forgiveness (i.e. Sylvia).
