that is indeed a common thing to ,its possible make a more manly MC with the assets just harder
they'll just say "look at this other VN they did there,why not do it here"

from what i've seen with other vn's with the same "complaints", this issue resolves itself with time,after a few updates

i'm sure the dev will read that and get straight on fixing that, redoing all the work he did etc. so you and few others don't have that immersion break.

I don’t mind the MC look, he looks fine for HS2 game, but that hat is an abomination, it reminds me of that basement-dwelling, katana wielding, neckbeard meme.

I'm pretty sure I saw that same hat on one of the girls in this old Japanese VN called Princess Evangile years ago.
Also the more manly point is moot when we got young chads like Troy or whatever MC's bros name is. No wonder the goddess thought he need a "buff".
It's clearly not an engine limitation like some people say it is with current mods.

No need to unwatch the thread, just easier to ignore the user (also got tired of their BS) like I did and then the game thread is still readable . They usually stop and try to find some other thread or place on the web if no one replies or give them attention hehe.

Here's my super hot-take: I don't really hate the hat. It looks stupid and I'd prefer it's absence but I don't really mind it.

But with the hat being here to stay, then I wish the hat actually FIT the MC's head. Ya know, like how the MC of AlwaysFan had a proper fitting hat when he dressed up in cosplay in the "convention event" in the tower? That outfit that looks oddly similar to the MC's outfit in IR, as if it was some kind of foreshadowing to IR like so many other things (like the IR protag's sister working in McDuck alongside Abby and so many names like "Hospital Saint-Ea" in the city of "Innanapolis")?

In IR, it feels like at any moment a light breeze passed through the MC it'd take his hat along with it. Idk why the hat size got shrunk down when transitioning to the new game.

Look you are assuming at lot of things I never said and you are wrong about all of them. The low-t was tongue-in-cheek which I guess failed to go over (hence why I usually try to use funny gifs).
I do think Troy would have been a better MC and the hat is terrible but that is just my opinion. You are perfectly entitled to your own.
This isn't really something worth going in circles over so I'm just gonna wish you a good day and move on.

Nope, I played it for the first time this release. Went through the whole thing and it never swapped from english to french on me.
