& yet the dev still can't help himself & is too afraid of a true renegade who either enjoy or accepte slavery & his rules (ie we can't avoid de "free the slaves", "slaves need more right", "this is not right, that must be forbiden"), the script is too much in-between imo.Dearly hoping for options to make being neutral unlock certain dialogue advantages.
I enjoy it but the flaw of the ol' "paragon vs renegage" issue is that it ends up removing player choice, ironically, cause your actions are largely predetermined.
What? Dude, that isn't a flaw. You just pointed out the 3 most common ways that isekais tend to happen and then decided that those were ironclad rules that have to be followed by the letter. If the Dev read this, i can't help but point out a flaw in your script, i can be wrong but i trust there is rules for Isekai worlds/univers.
As far i understand you have 3 types of Isekai:
- MC is summoned with a Spell/Artefact by the homelanders of the isekai world (MC is alive with his original body & pulled out of is world/univers without his consent by other living being).
- MC die in his world (by accident or not) & his welcomed by a deity who offer him/her a new life, the mc here is just a wandering soul bodieless, in this case the mc will be Reborn & start from scratch (ie literaly the mc come out of a mother womb & start his/her new life as a baby)(yes that would mean the mc is aware of his inability to use magic, his new family too & would have to hide it until he get trapped by the princess spell).
-MC die & is welcomed by a deity or is traped by a device & send to a "game" world (only in this case the mc get a fully grow-up new body) in this case the mc will have acces to a "RPG HUD" with spells/abilities menu & player stats.
So either it's a plot mistake or we get a missing part at the start of the game, because afaik your story is from the 2nd rule. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
So far i trust your game is not the common "desperate housewives" with a MILF getting fucked by the poolboy/repairman with no back story, plot & story, so little thing like that matter when you want your game/movie/anime to get life & a good story.
[sarcasm ON] Yes i'm aware of the big headache that must be to make a coherent plot where the mc comes into the world as a baby, then you have use the horrific "temporal ellipse" to age the mc in order to start the story because "all characters are aged of 18 or more", but... but wait ! then your mc can't be clueless of his new world because he/she would have grow-up in this same world for 18 years... & be aware of his missing mana & inability to use magic & have new parents... maybe a sibling or two... (not mandatory futur LI).
But if i use the 3rd isekai rule then i have to build & implement a HUD for the mc...

And does it have to necessarily meet one of those three conditions? Who enforces this? Is there a penalty for not doing so?If the Dev read this, i can't help but point out a flaw in your script, i can be wrong but i trust there is rules for Isekai worlds/univers.

It's just portal fantasy, slapping a Japanese name on it doesn't magically give it some deep, obscure rulebook to follow. If the Dev read this, i can't help but point out a flaw in your script, i can be wrong but i trust there is rules for Isekai worlds/univers.

Well, others have already spoken on the whole rule thing. So I'll just agree to it being silly, then move on. Plus I can't imagine how much sexy, weird, and freaky smut we would be deprived of. If folks adhered to rules and guidelines rigidly. So I for one welcome our normality chain breakers. For they are our gooning liberators. If the Dev read this, i can't help but point out a flaw in your script, i can be wrong but i trust there is rules for Isekai worlds/univers.

Why are you deforming what i write ? where did i stated they was ironclad rules ?What? Dude, that isn't a flaw. You just pointed out the 3 most common ways that isekais tend to happen and then decided that those were ironclad rules that have to be followed by the letter.
Claiming there are rules at all to making an isekai story is silly. This is all fiction. The author can write it however they want, there are no rules, ironclad or not.Why are you deforming what i write ? where did i stated they was ironclad rules ?
From the way I read it, he was basically saying that if the protagonist dies, get's resurrected by a deity and then comes to the new world in his old body then, according to his rules, the new world needs to be a game with status screens and floating interfaces and stuff like that. Which is quite silly.Well, others have already spoken on the whole rule thing. So I'll just agree to it being silly, then move on. Plus I can't imagine how much sexy, weird, and freaky smut we would be deprived of. If folks adhered to rules and guidelines rigidly. So I for one welcome our normality chain breakers. With that out of the way. I'm actually curious about what the flaw is. I'm guessing the bit you placed in spoilers about the princess? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. But I could swear I remember the game later clarifying the whole thing. The princess had nothing to do with his coming to the world. The Goddess put him, I think, near the castle? or just somewhere close enough. To which the princess intercepted/summoned him to her from that planned spot.
So even within the rules. Nothing was done wrong. Unless I'm mistaken on what you were getting at?
Where did I deform what you wrote? Why are you deforming what i write ? where did i stated they was ironclad rules ?
Hmm weird. Does that happen if you allocate the attribute points and then you move forward 1 step/render/dialogue and then save? Then reload that save. That can happen if you allocate the points and save in the same screen, load that save and won't register the change. That happens with many variables (or all probably) if you don't move forward a step in the game. Take this from someone that uses URM and sometimes change variables and I always move forward to make sure it "sticks" hehe.Forgive me for bothering anyone, but could I ask for help, please? When I allocate my attribute points, everything works well, but when I reload my save, all my stats reset for some reason. Am I doing something wrong? I am sorry.
