Yes I believe you are right but my bias for not enjoying and play ntr/s routes make me be blind on the other perspective. I'm not perfect that is why I try to put on other people shoes, and sometimes failing at it miserably hehe like in this case, so thank you.

Only can see it from the perspective of who play for the NTR/S from the posts of members that enjoy it and I also enjoy to read their views on this thread and AF thread as long they are not extreme on their pov. I find both threads debates very enjoyable in general.

Edit: AtemX community and fans are great, only pity was the tooooo early leak on that last update, people could wait at least 2 or 3 days and leak it and not after like 2 or 3 hours of the release and this game have a public release anyway, but I'm glad AtemX got over it and came back to us doing posts again :).

I have to agree with you on everything. People should remember that a developer has to survive if the game is going to be made at all. Everyone should be able to wait at least a few days for an update if it means the developer will not abandon the game. Especially lately when many of them are clearly struggling.
I do not worry so much if Caribdis has his game leaked the first hour. After all, at the minimum support, Caribdis is making $2,863,878 every month (as of October 1). I don't think he cares much about someone leaking his game.
AtemX is a great developer, and deserves to not have his support undermined. And I do not want to loose this game. It is far too good.

I love all of Caribdis's works and would never talk down on them... but damn that is an insane amount of money for someone creating adult games, and monthly at that.. Holy fuck..

He is one of the most successful HS devs out there so it's make sense. But yeah, I understand the temptation for playing leak update, but I try to refrain myself from playing less well-known game unless I pay for early access, if I really like them of course, like this one.

in the end of the day, this IS a pirate side. many ppl will have patience and try to reward defs they demand worthy.
most successful defs have found their balance wetween "stile" and "substance"
caribdis is ofc outside the normal spactrum since he is just to good. but them aside atemx is creating something that could be considered a work of art (by cetrain connoisseur).

he has so far proven to be one of only a hand full of defs that could satisfy players of the VERY different genres. and his last game gave most of us reason to trust in him.

How did you get these numbers? Do you really think he earns 2 million every month?

He has 6,559 paid members on patreon, at the minimum tier of $2.5 it makes $16,397.5

He makes more because there are higher tiers. But since it's made with HS studio, he can't sell it on shops like Steam.

This slave girl just learns MC is from another world and this is the conversation? You would think she would be more interested in what he is, where he comes from, what the other world is like, why the MC is here etc.... but nope you expected good characterisation, cant have any of that here.

They say curiosity killed the cat. But I suppose that when you're locked in a cell, awaiting a sentence, you have little to lose and plenty of free time. So starting a conversation with the person next to you seems like a natural thing to do under the circumstances... But the truth is, I've never been a prisoner in a castle dungeon.

??? Where the hell did this come from? We literally got no prior dialogue about his brewing negative feelings and resentment, and suddenly hes seething about revenge, despite being nonchalant a few moments ago talking to that other guy in the next cell.

We get no description of his torture apart from a few renders of lightning being shot at him and being forced to drink some super ebil potion, and the writer expects us to care for the MC's circumstances?

If you want us to care about what the MC is going through you actually have to put the effort into writing about it dev. Right now, giving some throwaway line before giving MC special powers is not how this works

They've imprisoned him in a castle dungeon for no reason. It's not like they've given him a Caribbean cruise as a reward. Realistically, the food will be poor at best, it will be damp and cold, and there will probably be rats and other vermin to torment him day and night. They don't even need to torture him to assume that his situation is anything but idyllic. Torture is just an extra layer of misery on top of it all.

There was no reason for the MC to accept a pact with this suspicious goddess, especially since he didn't seem to be doing too badly in his cell.
Again, it's not like he was on death's door. He seemed comparatively fine up until this point. Sure he was trapped but otherwise he seemed in good health.
There's no reason other than forcing some random revenge plot and giving the MC a deus ex powerup.
He didn't even earn these powers so it comes off as pathetic tbh.

If the writer had written each day's events as a different scene, and actually went into depth on his capture and torture, giving the false hope that the MC could escape before using narrative techniques to drive home the hopelessness of his situation, I would actually be fine with the revenge plot. But he didn't, so I don't care about the MC.

I suppose the important thing is that he was brought to this world by a goddess, he has no powers, he's imprisoned in a cell for no apparent reason, seemingly for life (because I doubt they intend to release him once they achieve their objective; it's probably better to just eliminate him outright), and with no possibility of escape (and that alone is reason enough to accept any deal that would allow him to escape such a situation). Now add to that the fact that he's being tortured (and we haven't even seen the torture yet, but I'm grateful for that), and you have someone desperate enough to consider any deal. I'm going to assume that there aren't many other powerless visitors from other worlds being tortured in dungeons who could serve her purposes, which are to take revenge on the goddess who brought him here to be imprisoned and tortured.

I'm not really into revenge, but someone here bought all the raffle tickets, and now the raffle is officially underway.

Alright, I'm just going to throw out my two cents before I make sure I never see your drivel again ...

This opening was a classic (yes, it hasn't been a decade, but it's still classic by now) anime isekai opening: MC is brought to a new world after death in his old world by a careless deity, is put in an immediate disastrous situation, miraculously learns a superior power, escapes the disastrous situation ... and then the story moves on from there.

Also, the game is CALLED Inanna Revenge. That's the story that's being established. It doesn't matter if other people in this world wanted revenge. The STORY BEING WRITTEN is that this character that doesn't fit in this world caught the attention of a higher being that is happy to help the MAIN CHARACTER get the revenge he is SET UP to want.

The fact that you can go through the scenes they did show, and read the text telling us -- NOT implying, flat out telling us -- the torturous treatment he received daily for months, and still think that he wasn't justified in having thoughts of deadly revenge because the game didn't take you though every single day of his torture and visually spell it out explicitly ... Well, you clearly thought you were getting a different game than this is and should have bowed out after this rant.

But you didn't. And I've seen enough.

"Why doesn't he use his power to heat the water?" when the fireplace is already lit and Sylvia just advised him not to waste his mana on things where it's unnecessary; besides, he's only just learned to use magic, doesn't really have control over it yet, and might end up burning the bucket. I don't know whether you arrived here with a preconceived notion about the game or whether you do this kind of overanalysis with every work you discover (video games, books, series, films), but I hope for your sake it's the first option—because otherwise it must be really hard to enjoy anything if you overthink and extrapolate from every detail and every line of dialogue in a story.

And also, as someone else mentioned, you are free to criticize, but please do it in a single post and put the images under spoiler tags, because right now your messages are just flooding the thread, and that's against the forum rules.

I agree with this. We hug her because she's a cutie who needs a hug. Simping would be like kissing her feet and letting her step on us.

Unrelated to this discussion: We need more foot content! ASAP.

Also, I'd like to point out that AtemX did not comment or correct my statement about the phone being hidden up MC's butt during his prison stay. That means it's confirmed as canon.
