The game isn't being sold. The assets are likely downloaded from smutba.se, and are uploaded there from other users that made them on other programs, like blender, DAZ etc. Having a patreon to have fans fund a project isn't the same as illegal sale of IP owned by others. At best, EA can ask for a C&D, not an outright lawsuit. At least at first. But otherwise, it is no different than what every Blender/SFM animator is doing with DoA, Overwatch, Resident Evil, Stellar Blade, Marvel Rivals, etc.

The guy is profiting, whether direct or indirect is irrelevant. In the eyes of the US legal system, where this would apply, it would be 100% viewed as copyright infringement since he is not only replicating characters from a well known franchise, but he's also receiving funds from an unofficial unsupported title.

I make no issue with it, personally. I'm just saying, I've seen developers pop up, make a game and then get told to stop or they'll be intercepted at legal level. Nothing new in the digital age.

I think it's that the character was the first introduced, and as the updates came out, the new characters got more meaty content, and it will cycle them around, as the entire roster fills up. It's not that the character is sidelined, it's just that the roster hasn't cycled through, and the creator couldn't outright give you all the sex with her, from the first release.

I love some people are either busy whining about why we can't play as male Shepard, proving they've never played any of the architect games and do not understand that this is an entry in an existing series with an existing protagonist, or busy whining about copyright infringement on a gooner website where half the games are parodies of existing IPs. The other half are pirated versions of games that shouldn't be distributed for free, making it laughable that they are trying to virtue-signal here, of all places.

Either way, can't wait for this or the remake TheArchitect is working on. Looks incredible.​

I miss the glory days when Architect had time to work on his games. Now we don't hear much; they are on life support, and there has been no Shepard content since the tech demo release, and I don't believe the upcoming version has any either, as it's expanding the Citadel location.

When that trailer for the Hack and Stalk remake was released, that looked pretty good too, but now I'm not sure if we'll ever get to see that project at this pace. RIP.

This game comes second for me. I enjoyed Goons Raid Her the most and the variety of choices it offered. It's a shame there wasn't a sequel.

GRH was one of my first forays into adult gaming, and still holds a top spot in my tier list. The only thing that would make it better for me, is a fully 3D open world remake. That is what I came looking for in the first place. The genre has not advanced enough yet, for that to be a reasonable expectation.
