I agree with you and I also think that a dev shouldn't force the players to restart, but in this case it was something that had to be done, according to a lot of feedback. And actually it's better to erase the mistakes that a dev made, when the game is still in it's early developement. Which let's be honest this game still is, at least if you ask me. It would be far worse if I would have added scenes to the end of the previous version and completely disregard the problems that were already there.
My plan is to add a new entry on the main menu to give the players the possibility to just play the new scenes and hopefully not force them to replay.
And in some ways I even agree with the review that was added to the thread today. Although it would have been nice if there was a mention of the version that the reviewer played. And as for the commas I'm sorry, but it's a reflex that comes with my native language. And yes the police angle seems a bit off at the moment, but that will be expanded further. It's funny though that people still think it jumps from flashback to flashback, even though the look of them is very different from the normal look. But that said yes there are some images that aren't correct and show a different version of the characters.
