Reports say the tsunami did minimal damage, left flooding in a few areas, only one casualty report of an elderly woman who crashed trying to relocate and 21 injured or suffered from heat related incidents during the tsunami evacuation effort. 2 million evacuated to higher ground (rooftops and mountain areas) and currently there are no power outages, power plants among the coastal region are being remotely operated while workers are evacuated to safe locations. last Thursday Japan(Hokkaido region) downgraded its final tsunami alert and lifted them altogether the day after. Right now Japan is going through an advisory stage at the pacific coastal regions, as some train transportations remain offline. Tsunamis continued to move south from Hokkaido to North East Tokyo, Officials urged residents to also take caution as larger waves might arrive later. On July 31st residents were allowed to return home with no major structural damage or flooding was caused to their homes. As of today Japan is to safe and habitable with minor transportation locations still unavailable
Its been a scary week and with all that said Takuda might not have access to his pc right now which explains the silence, he only comments and posts if he has one. So its going to take a while before we know what happened with him specifically. Probably devastated he lost his pc or recovering from heatstroke the day he was suppose to release the update. So lets all wish him the best and give him our support during this absence.
TL;DR
Best case scenario Takuda has to replace his brand new PC.
Worst case scenario is Takuda was among one of the 21 injured (More than likely has heatstroke, and has to recover for multiple weeks or days) AND has to replace his new PC.
Even worst case, Takuda was secretly an elderly woman in her 50s who was the ONLY reported casualty. (Extremely far fetched but not impossible)
