so, i've cheated my way into this game with CE: max money, max stats, all that jazz, without going deep under the hood. and i gotta say:
the game just completely fucks you over, period.
even if you have lvl 100 in every topic, lvl 100 charm, read magazines like a starved bookworm, have squid/octo killer for her and use a card on the topic SHE just brought up, she will still say "this wasn't very exciting" because you've already discussed this topic WITH SOMEONE ELSE. and i'm not even kidding, i've successfully talked with one girl three times on the same topic, then talked with the other one on the said topic, and now in her eyes i look like a douchebag for some reason.
i feel like Tukada understands and knows that there must be some kind of system to prevent spamming the same favourable topics for each girl, and i understand it as well but good lord this is travesty, like i'm in a cheap soap opera of sorts.
the game definitively is more complex, but the complexity comes at a steep cost. like you can't even tell if the conversation didn't proc because of RNG or because you've already talked about it 22 times this hour.
also bugs, bugs crawl all over the walls: Manta Estate has literal void that will trap your loved one in a singularity of time and space, making your restart the game. and also Woomy's sofa is apparently has glue spilled all over it as you don't have any prompts to leave or stand up while she talks to you till she hates your guts.
also sorry, Squid Maid, i couldn't go on the appointed date with you because i was a bit busy TALKING to you over the squidphone while standing LITERALLY NEXT TO YOU.

surprising not "too" many bugs (besides translation problems) on my end but the handling/control is awful
but again it's a beta lmao
personally i would have liked less girls and more work done on the player character
anyways beta is not worth it (wait for more updates), but hey the game is real and not a lie

This actually brought an interesting thing that i may have missed.
I noticed that when you get a phone call, all the girls (except squid maid) get a bit jealous. This combined with the "Dont use the same topics with different girls" makes me thing Taku really went in into the SIM aspect to simulate you trying to cheat on the girls.
I did 2 saves and i ONLY focused on Squid Maid and i got pretty far, once you reach 3-4 successful conversations in a row, they go into a tangent on a topic they really care about, Squid Maid explained me in a wall of text how the Soul change from the tutorial works.
Then i had another successful row of conversations and I got a unique "scene transition" showing that i just spent a lot of time talking with her, THIS GAMEPLAY MECHANICS ARE DEEP.
Sadly, im having the most trouble with the naughty parts, i cannot for the life of me get a squid girl to give me a blowjob and when i ask them to take control....i cant cancel out of it, sometimes they cycle through poses but never actually DO anything, they get on top and then wait, 69 but then just wait, get close to a BJ....and then they just wait. Its weird.

I will say i went in on the receptionist, and despite her not being receptive to me saying i liked her, i followed up by asking for missionary and she was like "alright i guess"
and then once the pheromones kicked good lord she would not STOP. i was done jorkin my peanits by that point so im not even sure where im gonna boot back to if that file saved to begin with, couldn't tell if there was an auto save

the biggest problem right now is how girls may prompt a conversation on a topic you've already exhausted to hell and back, and you have no choice but to tank that hate build up, and how if you exhange numbers girls can just stunlock you into answering their wave of calls about the same topic you've just talked about six times in person already. the ^ said receptionist was literally asking about food 3 more times after my attempts and then called me 5 more times about it in the span of an hour. like, girl, i think you need to go on a diet?
also when you go to sleep, the passage of time accelerates, but it never ever stops, so if you go afk on the day-results screen you might as well be in a coma 'cause like 30 days will go by when you wake up. which is useful when you want for the cooldowns on topics to come off, since it takes more than a day to do it fully i think (or even more, which is fucking ridiculous).
also also, when you have 100 in everything, you can talk on any topic and they will like it at least 2 times, on their favorite ones - 3 times. which you will be doing because you'll exhaust their favorite ones just from their calls.

Hi, any advice about the beta? I'm aware of all the bugs and errors and I can wait for them to be fixed. I just want to understand the card and conversation system because I haven't been able to get anywhere. I'm stuck at the lovers level and when I try to make dates, it doesn't work or they reject me. I read that there is a jealousy system and that you can get tired of the same conversations, but I still don't understand anything. Has anyone managed to advance?
Very glitchy, can't even save, and moving through the enviroments is fucking horrid, unintuitive and everyone hates me even when I haven't raped them yet.
Can't wait to see it finished, looks hella good.
Hypnosis is funky, it sometimes wears off when you take them home... and can't even talk to some on the wild...

The best way I’ve found to be able to have sex with them is to go on a date and bring her to a sofa or a bed. Wait for her to lean in your direction and kiss, then wait for the "reason %" to reach 0% and "reason broken" her or you can "Embark" or her direction and force a kiss.

Sure, I could use that glitch to attempt to raise all of my stats really high, but I'd rather just crack open the save and modify it that way, on top of giving myself every perk.
You can see a lot of information about your and other characters in AppData > LocalLow > S.A.L HIDEOUT > IKA3D > Player.Log. What they like, their "sweet spot" and other information.
Modifying this doesn't change anything. The save file is probably in another location.
I don't know anything about modifying a Unity save file..

Just found out while messing with the registry editor that changing the amount of times your character has talked about something to 0 (eg: inside the of the "_header_Chara_CHARA_ID_YOU_info" registry in the "TALK COUNT":" section changing one them like "NAUGHTY : X,.." to 0) will reset the invisible cooldown timer to that specific topic but for some reason the max is 3 for most character so you will have to talk about one topic 2 times then change the registry back to 0 so you can continue talking about the same topic multiple times and actually get anywhere in the game
Also don't even think about doing the cooldown the legit way as that will only recharge ONE topic ONE time while the others wont and the game will never tell you wich topic is safe to be used again
I only found out about this because i decided to use all my topics then wait 34 days to see if they recharged and what a surprise they didn't
I really hope Takuda overhauls this system or makes it less punishing because as it is right now is absolutely atrocious
