Not sure if it's because of the MKV video files but I still have the same issues with the compressed version.
months and months of waiting for.... Nothing! At least I'm not one of those who support him financially.

I just use the mega downloader and it will break it up on its own over two days if you hit cap

if you have limit. just pause your downloader. try next day. its me. on my phone

Pixeldrain was claiming I'd already used up most of my daily limit, when I haven't downloaded anything from there since Saturday. The same thing happened last week as well. Not sure why this is suddenly the case. Never had any problems before last week.
But strangely even though I supposedly only had 1GB remaining on my daily limit. I was still able to download the 1.5 GB of the compressed version, without the download speed dropping at all. So did I really only have 1GB remaining?

Came here to check if remastered version has something new. Got a whole page of something that seems like politic / social problems talking. Well seems that remastered version doesn't have anything new

I went through it briefly and I didn't see enough changes or improvements to make it worthwhile over starting the next part of the story.Came here to check if remastered version has something new. Got a whole page of something that seems like politic / social problems talking. Well seems that remastered version doesn't have anything new

Yes, there are 106 images in directory „remastered”, but they did not look like new scenes and I did not see any bigger improvement, that required 6 months.
The good news is that old saves are working, so that there is no need to start from beginning.

Lets compare 0.0.8 animations/vids with remastered ones.* Some technical details are remaining the same, the most significant is probably that VP9 video codec is used in both cases. But vids themselves have gone through a big change. Width/height of the most vids back in 0.0.8 was 1920 x 1080 px. In the remastered version it's now 3840 x 2160 px. Videos frame rate has jumped from 30 000 to 60.000 FPS (2 x) and overall bit rate from 698 kb/s to 5 412 kb/s (7.7 x!). Side note: they also moved from WebM format to Matroska (although .mkv file extension is used in both cases). I think that explains why older/less powerful devices may have lagging/unsyncing problems now.
Unfortunately I can't say anything about compressed version (didn't try it).
Was it worth it? There is no single answer to this question I guess. For me it's an overkill, like cracking your Christmas nuts with a sledgehammer. It's a porn game, not some Hollywood blockbuster you watch from the other side of the room on a ultra-large QD-OLED TV screen. Also: IoM renders are fine, but some "squareness" and lack of details are now more showy imho. But then again - I'm just a random non-paying dude from a pirate forum of porn games.
* I took V007_Jen_Fred_Kiss_Clothing_Store_01.mkv as an example, but it seems to be a pretty common sample.

Great Breakdown, I haven't tried the remaster in 4K, only my desktop has that capability. So I guess this remaster will not mean much to the majority of us here.
When it comes to video scene this game is not even close to games from ICSTOR (MilfCity), Philly Games (Depraved Awakening, City of Broken Dreamers) or DrPinkCake(Being a DIK). 4K video at 60fps is overkill for this kind of quality.
The biggest strength of this game is the story, and that did not change a bit.

Previous version was crashing in the middle of sex scene in the house, this version crushes in the menu. Great updates, I must say.
