Will the UK online clampdown affect Patreon in any way? Thought of this game, and others, and am curious now.

It's difficult to maintain sustained interest, and content is consumed quickly. With a limited budget and staff, frequent updates and unlimited content shouldn't be expected. We're experiencing a period where this developer's update frequency is prolonging.

I'm desperately looking for a similar game while I wait for the update, but the level is very high. Can anyone help me?

Hi, try these two titles where I have a paid patron. They have tags such as “female protagonist” “corruption” “3D” “animated” and of course “big tits” as well as other common tags:

the big step
life as an innocent waitress

I'm not sure what you mean by games similar to this one. Do you mean free roam?
Anyway, I think the best way to find something that works for you is to search for it using the engine on this amazing site. Maybe you haven't tried the third tab at the top of the page called “last updates” yet. There you can select both the tags you prefer and those you definitely don't want. Maybe you have a preference for the engine the game runs on: RPGM, Renpy, Unity, Godot, etc., or one you definitely don't want. The graphics and animations for 3D have improved over the years, so you can set a time limit. In short, if you or anyone else reading this has never used it, I consider it indispensable.

Big Step was pretty good.

Isn't it in their best interest to give some indication of progress, especially if it's close to release, wouldn't that attract a few temporary patrons? They used to give Saturday and Sunday updates I think? Is it still the case? Nonetheless some of the suggestions for alternatives have proven interesting

It is not that obvious...
Some people do not like it when a dev says a date of release... But has to postpone it later due to unexpected problems...
This dev made the choice of reliability : when a date is said by him, the release will be out this date...
In order to make it realistic, he then cannot tell it too soon : the earlier a developer talks about a release date, the more likely he can face unexpected events that may put him in a difficult situation about his words.

They used to give Saturday and Sunday updates I think? Is it still the case?[...]
Yes, it is... Just three weeks ago, he replaced his usual weekly Saturday+Sunday post by a Friday post.

Post from last week, July, the 27th 2025:

Hello people! I hope to have 100% of the animations for the Bruce scene done by tomorrow. It's a complex scene that has taken me forever to do, but finally, it seems it will be completed.

The scene alone will have nearly 300 animations... Probably is the most complex H scene that I've developed so far, it is non-linear, it has options inside, and inside some options... more options...

After S2E3 is launched and everyone can see the scenes that I'm adding, I want to do a poll and ask everyone about their opinion. Because developing such complex H scenes takes time (Everyone already knows that ) and I would like to know if everyone will want me to keep scenes as complex as this, or maybe do them simple so I can add more scenes that are way simpler or keep doing them like I'm doing know, which take time but the final result is excellent and with top-quality.

My dream would be to keep the H scenes as complex (and hot) as the ones I'm adding with shorter release times, but being 100% honest, I don't see a way to do it, I've not been able to find someone to help me with animations, I think that the way to go will be to find someone and explain/teach how to do them with my style will take this into consideration when S2E3 is launched. We will see.

With nothing more to say... Time to make the last Bruce animations.

Nope because if they missed the deadline because of some unforeseen problem it would attract every last whiner of "Their Milking" "People are stupid to support" pages and pages of this nonsense until the update releases. It's smart of them to be relatively vague on the release date.

So, in your opinion, what everyone should do, regardless of the type of film, game, or car supplier, is never say when a product will be released because otherwise, if they get the release date wrong, someone might complain? This world is beautiful because it is diverse.

I want to add something, for example. Partedes, the artist behind The Big Step, releases an update EVERY MONTH. Do you think one of his financiers would say anything if he said, “Guys, I need a couple more days”?
I admit that this month's update came out a day early, and when the message came out, I thought, “Oh well, he didn't make it. How bad is the damage?”

It's good to keep people informed of the facts. It is a fact that updates are slow, very slow, to be released. It's nothing unique though, that said this allows people to make an informed choice on support rather than going in blindly, also letting people know it could be deemed as "milking" the customerbase. I think we do lose sight that they have customers and once you start taking peoples money you should be ready and willing to take some flak.
I personally think, given how much they make, that updates should be more regular or at the least much longer. But you get what you pay for, as long as those paying are happy that's all that matters. It is a good game and effort goes into quality, sadly not quantity though. I am eager to see the update when it finally comes out, so I guess that's all that really matters.

Expectations.

A dev that sets expectation estimates is giving his supporters a time frame, and if you want to support, you expect for them to deliver roughly around the time they say they will. A Prime example of this is Being A Dik - BADIK, the expectations have been set for a yearly release, it's acceptable because he sets his supporters expectations clearly and usually he delivers good updates. You will be hard pressed to find more than a handful of users in that thread whining about his schedule.

I support five VN/Games in total atm and the devs set my expectations on release dates, upcoming plot lines and graphic designs of the models, so I am satisfied. If I have an issue I go directly to Subscribestar/Patreon/Discord to voice my concerns and speak to the dev directly. 99% of the Whining/Milking/crying posters here are simply free loaders, who will tell you how dumb you are for supporting any dev as if these titles are free and easy to make. Non supporters can complain all they like but it turns into 2-3 pages of bashing a dev because "OMG" the update is a week later than the exact date he said it would release on. A Dev should NOT give an exact release date until they are 100% certain they can hit that date. That's the point, if it's not 100% ready to go then don't announce it will be here on XYZ date.

Innocence or Money is very ambitious with it's translations alone! So many different people to be contacted and have translations completed, not to mention the different platforms it is available on (PC/MAC/Android). The Graphics quality is also very high, and in general when they release very few errors are missed, I'm fine with having some patience and playing something else until it's ready.
