Let's be honest, this is one of the biggest money-making schemes out there. The developer is simply sitting on passive income from his unfinished “game”, which will never be completed.
I played this game about seven years ago. Has anything changed? Answer: No. The game hasn't gotten any better. They've added tons of text and a couple of pictures, but are those tons of text worth anything? Answer: No. Once, the developer responded to a question in which he was indirectly accused of what I am accusing him of, to which he replied that he was not making a regular porn game, that this game would be rich in story. But it is not rich in story, it is rich in boring mini-games, drawn-out events, and a lack of content. After so many years of development, people still don't understand that this project is not worth spending money on, that you are being deceived, and you are happy about it. Stop giving money and don't play this “story-rich game” imitation.
Btw, idk why, but my vote for this game (1 star ofc) was deleted kekw and I can’t write it again so I will drop warning here about this absolute garbage game

Most people once trick into a scam will fall in the sunk cost fallacy, where they could't admit they got doop into a scam, because they are not an idiot. No, you are the fool for not seeing that game development takes time and money to do. Meanwhile, the more money they give, the more the sunk cost fallacy takes hold. Because if they were to give up, that means they wasted hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and most importantly amint they are an idiot from there point of view. Unless the devs run with the money, which I don't, or they go belly up, there is pretty no way these people could realize this fact that the devs are milking the community dry, and probably never finished the game.
when i open the mac version, a dialog comes up asking to (what i presume is the password) to access the saves - it is not a macos prompt, just be aware as this looks highly suspicious!

You can say a lot about the development of Summertime Saga, and there are many things to criticize them for, but at least they have a large amount of h scenes that came from their development (before the rework). Compare that to this, there is so little that came out of it, it's basically a desert on how dry our ladies have been.

Intriguing and playing with the curiosity of players is one thing, but playing with our patience? Full H-Content is only available for few characters, no real plot options - you choose one line and it leads you to a dead end, where you are only teased with a couple of animations per year. The project, which seemed interesting to me initially, turned into a total disappointment. I sincerely do not understand the people who continue to support this project financially

yeah, it had a lot of promise, quality art, but it's been what a decade now? and there's barely any sexual content in it? You have to play for hours to get maybe one scene, it's a shit hentai game, and it's a shit point and click too, because you need a guide to get anywhere, only a matter of time because you need to do some deeply convoluted shit sometimes. I remember deponia, that was a good point and click, you'd occasionally need a guide, but it'd be for like one puzzle piece your stuck on, not half the puzzle.

Nah. Summertime Saga, while clearly not trust worthy at this point, at least had content and did not engage in the active removal of said content. The rebuild may be missing content but the original is still there and the slow addition of content is resulting in new material being added to Summertime Saga. Innocent Witches, on the other hand, has spent the last three years actively removing content to "rewrite" the game, cramming it full of absolutely godawful mini-games that they OCD focus on for one update and then completely forget about, and what little content is added per update focuses on characters absolutely no one gives a single, solitary, sole soaring shit about. Summertime Saga will never be as bad as Innocent Witches... which is saying something because Summertime Saga is so fucked.
