Currently, Insect Mucus drops from the Jellyfish enemies only. You can find them at the Rear Beach, which is unlocked by exploring the Shoreline a few times. After defeating the Jellyfishes, there is a 15% chance of them dropping the item.


Can you tell me the settings you had enabled?

Some posts have been warning that the "Preload Anims" setting is having some troubles, so it can be the cause for strange behavior in scenes. Even so it shouldn't impact the battle system, but until I investigate it further will be hard to tell.

The main objective right now is to bring the remake to the level of the original game, with all its content restored and slightly enhanced. There exists some ideas for what could be done after, but I'll decide on how to proceed when we get to version 1.0 . I would like to bring some closure to the game personally, like finishing the story with a conclusion and a few more scenes to spice thing up along the way, but for now, it is all thoughts.

The tentacles have no use currently. I don't remember if they had an use on the original game, but I believe they did not, and if that is the case, I'll need to eventually make up something for them.

I have a bug where turning on the setting for Preloading the Animations seems to not work and every scene is stuck on the black screen. I am not sure if maybe the scene was just loading really slow but it works much better without the option turned on.

I'm currently investigating the issues with the new settings and battle locks. For the mean time I would suggest to disable "Preload Anims" and "Long Animations" in the settings, to avoid having problems with the scenes.

Avoid using the auto battle feature as well, for now, as it can block the battle and prevent anything from happening. I've already identified the problem and am working on a correction.

I'll see if I can have all of these fixed by the next release.

You require at least 3 scenes with Parasite Beasts, excluding failed escape scenes, and then just return to the beach. Leah will then notice that something followed her home.

Not exactly a bug report or a complaint, but in the original game during the scene with Oniku in the doghouse Leah used to close her eyes when he came inside of her. I prefer that since it was a nice reaction, and having her look to Oniku from that point on was a nice touch.

If that is the case, it was by accident, since the scenes are meant to be as close as possible to the originals' . Maybe I've placed the wrong images on the sequence, or missed some images. I'll eventually check it out and see if I can correct it.

That is a very interesting proposal. When we get to the second scene with urination (Cicada scene), I'll make an attempt at adding the urination part as a stage of the animation as well, I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off, but I worry about it when we get there. It will only be at version 1.0, which in my roadmap is the one where the Cicada scene is added.

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Not sure if it is relevant for your query still, but the next update will include another explorable region, which is the Swamp.

Turn off longer Animations in Settings - hold down right Mouse button to speed up Scenes by x8.

For most people the setting to speed up scenes by 2.0 at baseline is probably most comfortable. Although yes, 8x on right-click hold will still see regular use.

I'm glad this game is seeing completion, I tried it out and I can recognize the charm it had, though poses for the heroine in sex scenes were limited. The combat had nuance to it. The game also has a very interesting kink in which sex can take so long that it can progress time from day to night or night to day... to the degree that a single battle can last literal days just because of the sex time transitions.

I feel like balance is this game's strong suit, in which I don't perceive equipment to unanimously let the player steamroll battles. It takes gear just to make fights against roaches and dogs feel reliably on your side. Healing item scarcity plays some factor into not simply healing through every battle you have. The game could be harder but at least it's not too easy.

I've already encountered the same problem.
Press enter, it opens the battle menu and you can continue playing.
it worked for me (Windows).

I cant farm the jellyfish, because when a scene triggers by high lust and I click end scene the game freezes. This has happened with Dogs or roaches as well, but there the push Enter / Space trick worked and it only happened very so often. With the Jellyfish though it happens every single time. A scene starts > click end scene > softlocked. there seems to be something seriously broken with these guys, moreso than with the other creatures. I tried smooth animation on and off/ long animation on and off and it happened in this verion and the last.

Some feedback:

Are there different scenes with sleeping Leah depending on if you are infected with Dog parasite or Mushroom parasite? They got different names, so I figured the scenes were different too, but I havent seen anything different, even after "cleaning" Leah with medicine and only carrying 1 Mushroom parasite.

Getting rid of Parasite is a pain in the ass because 1 medicine removes only 4. Will there be a Super Medicine at some point removing more at once or maybe even all? Its quite easy to get infested with them. Getting enough of them took a while cause jellyfish werent farmable so I bought them with shards. Took a while of careful farming to get rid of 32 parasite.

Same with bandages. There should be a Super Banadge that heals more, or some kind of unlockable skill or passive that lets her heal more from regular bandages.

However I'd like a similar mechanic for lewdness. Like the lewdness exractor removes only half of it, but costs only half. So you could enjoy horny Leah while still being able to farm lewdness for shards. This would also soften up the difficulty at early game when money is tight.

Also I kinda dislike that each piece of armor requirs extensive Dogfarming. It would be cool if the buckler wouldnt require Dog Leather rather than a new ressource that drops randomly out of combat, or the kite shield requirs iron ore and vines with another ressource that is dropped by roaches. Right now Roaches drop nothing so its rather pointless to fight them, especially with the risk of a Game Over.

Also there should be some kind of indicator for Leahs Lewdness near her portrait updating on the fly. So you can see the level of lewdness during combat and/or without opening a menu.

That softlock issue is honestly vexing for me, it seems it is affecting some people, but not everyone and I couldn't yet reproduce it on my side, I'm starting to think that it might be hardware or driver related. But the space/enter solution is even more confusing because I'm not listening to those keys in the game systems, I know the engine captures them for UI purposes, but should in no way impact the scenes, but apparently it does, so there is something happening behind the scenes that I'm completely clueless about.

The parasite scenes unfortunately are the same. The original game only has scenes for one parasite. I may attempt to change this in the future, but only after completing the remake roadmap.

Regarding the crafting recipes. They are the same as the original game mostly, I've only now started making my own tweaks, so I'll take your loot and crafting suggestions into consideration on my next tweaks.

For the partial items, maybe increasing resources on crafting would be enough, for example, crafting anti parasites could yield 3 bottles instead of only one. Super items could also be added later. These would for example heal 100% or remove all parasites in a single use.

The Wharf Roaches will yield Insect Mucus in the future as well and I may remove that as a drop from Jellyfishes, since once the Sewer is implemented there will be more 2 sources for that drop.

I believe the lewdness refiner is very partial already, you can go up to 9 lewdness levels, with 3 being the first threshold and 6 the second.

In terms of a lewdness meter, it could be Leah's portrait itself, with the face changing for every threshold level and a different face when you are at max lewdness, because that is used as a trigger for several systems.
