As to your first one, at least we're given options to turn down money and just do it because we want to for free... so that one's kind of a non-issue, but I agree that depravity would be a much better word to use. You're also right that money is pretty useless after awhile, but coming up with the initial 19k does require quite a bit of hooking.

The Eva story line really didn't make any sense for me... in the dreams she's talking about taking her away from the depravity and whatnot, when it's her fault that Kate turned into a whore. The only way I can wrap my head around this is if Kate's pursuit of Eva is really just her falling further down the rabbit hole of "lewdness" and subconsciously wanting to embrace it by being in love with "her".... but! Why? The bigger issue for me, though, was just how rushed everything was with her. Had they taken a little more time to develop an actual relationship with her, it would've made her dream sequences more impactful, but instead she's hastily introduced and like you said, basically just sexually assaults you (par for the course) with no lead up.... and then it turns out that she's not real... and you're someone else? And your sister doesn't exist (in this city at least) or she's Nina's daughter, or you're both Nina's daughters.... who the hell knows.
