Kind Nightmares Hey, so hopefully you saw my last post and all the contradictions and errors I posted, because I added I edited it multiple times, like pills issue, or no phone call about date with bella on Viv path, skipping Alex meet up, along with others so hopefully you got all that, and seen it, also have a bit more deon below.

Nice. Do you have Pumping Pole Palette or Cover-Up? I find them to be great assets for getting the textures to match.
That's odd, all my error messages work fine.
Though I like this game a lot, there is one element that bothers me a lot about Jade. The Dev seems to cater the story solely around Jade. What I mean to say is the story never shows Jade in the wrong and anytime someone has some different opinion than Jade, Jade just bullies and bulldozes them into silence. Most of the time, I feel as if Jade imposes her will rather than being understanding of anyone who criticizes.
The two situations I noticed this once when Vivienne had a different opinion on her and talked with a defiant tone and Jade literally "Kabedoned" her to the wall, thus suppressing her opinion. Same thing happened with Ashley this update, where she raised her voice and Jade simply silenced her opinion because she talked out loud to her.
And the advice the old man who trained Jade, gives seems outright misogynistic.
I think the Dev does this to show a Dominant behavior but this doesn't seem like dominant behavior. This just seems a lot like bullying. Just a pet peeve of mine. The story is okay in other regards but these two incidents and Jade's behavior in them bothers me.

I don't know how you read, but when I show the story from Jade's side and around her, doesn't mean she's always right. She often acts like an asshole and I've said so many times. She's only 25 years old and she makes a lot of mistakes.
Sometimes she learns from those mistakes, sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she admits them and sometimes she stubbornly holds on to them. It's called character development, at least the way I see it in the context that she doesn't have to completely change her personality.
As for when someone raises their voice at her, I don't get it, what's the big deal? I personally can't stand it when someone raises their voice at me, even my own family, my parents couldn't stand it either. If you like being yelled at, good for you, I guess.
I will also be glad to see examples of dominant behavior from you, as you seem to be an expert.
Wait so Ashley raising her opinion is a bad thing then? Her distress is understandable. Jade never discussed that she is fucking her friend and possibility of her being pregnant. Of course she is in distress listening from her friend that she is pregnant with Jade's child.
From what you are saying, Jade should suppress anyone raising any opinion against them. Okay.
But how is Jade 25? Then how old is her brother? How old is Evelyn? From what I gather, Ashley is 18 years old. How can their be only 7 years gap between them? Because from what it seemed, Evelyn had a crush on Jade when she was in school. The age doesn't make sense.
I never said I was an expert, but one can see what dominant behavior usually entails to. First of all the DOm/SUb mechanics comes down to sexual relationships based on consent. But outside of it, in normal conversations, if someone suppresses your opinions, that isn't dominant behavior, that boils down to bullying. If Jade feels bad someone raised their voice against her, why won't the other person feel bad that Jade suppresses any and all opinion raised against her? Then you are saying Jade is always right and her opinion is the one that matters.
The worst thing for a writer, as well as a developer, is to tell ex post facto what he meant when someone has already read/play his work.
I was hoping it would be obvious that Jade was trying to protect Julie and her and Ashley's friendship. She openly said that if Ashley wanted to blame someone, let her blame Jade herself.
And judging by your next question you're not really reading my game, so I don't see the point in having a conversation with you. I'm just going to get more upset.

Really, the ages of the characters question is offensive? I was confused when you said Jade is 25. If Jade is 25, then Ashley would have been born when she was 7. That means at min Jade's brother and Evelyn would have married at around 18 which suggests they are about 11 years older but that contradicts how Evelyn can have a crush on Jade in her teenage years if she was already married by the time Jade is a teen. Or maybe the world created by you has lower age of consent or age of marriage? Or maybe as you have mentioned Jade had a childhood crush on Evelyn when she was 7 years old and Evelyn was 18 years and marries Adam.
Not saying characters should be perfect. Jade being an unintentional bully is a character flaw. Maybe a pet peeve of mine but thats your character, but you also have every right to be upset if your character gets criticism, unfair or not.

So isn't plausible for Adam to be 36? So a person isn't allowed to have a crush on a teenager or can't it happen even if someone is married with her brother? As long doesn't act on it at illegal age of consent isn't illegal, morally is another question, but better not going there.
But really I don't remember Evelyn saying that had a crush on Jade in teen years, maybe I missed it or wasn't too focused at that time, only thing is clear is what is on the characters bios, and simply says that Jade had a childhood crush on Evelyn like some children have at a very young age (for me is more admiration than "love" at that age but whatever) and couldn't even happen after they got married, I don't see why not, like things like that don't happen even when they struggle with those feelings because society and upbringing says its wrong. Anyway all you have asked is irrelevant for me (and I bet for most of us) and only creates confusion.
You are overthinking all of this (and so did I on that my little pointless dissertation). That is only a good way to make just another developer on this site to stop interacting with the community here, like many of them got fed up by being interrogated and criticized with pointless arguments. You talked about bullying but what you did was very close to it, you are intitled to criticize the developer or the game but in my view you went too far.
