But really I don't remember Evelyn saying that had a crush on Jade in teen years, maybe I missed it or wasn't too focused at that time, only thing is clear is what is on the characters bios, and simply says that Jade had a childhood crush on Evelyn like some children have at a very young age (for me is more admiration than "love" at that age but whatever) and couldn't even happen after they got married, I don't see why not, like things like that don't happen even when they struggle with those feelings because society and upbringing says its wrong. Anyway all you have asked is irrelevant for me (and I bet for most of us) and only creates confusion.

You are overthinking all of this (and so did I on that my little pointless dissertation). That is only a good way to make just another developer on this site to stop interacting with the community here, like many of them got fed up by being interrogated and criticized with pointless arguments. You talked about bullying but what you did was very close to it, you are intitled to criticize the developer or the game but in my view you went too far.

Somehow I thought that not treating characters with basic empathy and respecting their opinions is considered Dominance.
But maybe there is something deeper about Dom/Subs that you can educate me about.

Every relationship requires mutual consent to work. Sexual relationships also require an understanding and respect of one another’s interests, and limitations, in a more limited or concentrated area of that relationship. A dominant/submissive relationship is no different in those aspects. “Kinky” sexual interests are, perhaps a far more sensitive area for many, perhaps more so for the submissives, but not necessarily so, and therefore require “kid gloves”, extra care, respect, understanding. Therefore, for example, you cannot do something to a submissive, unless they have told you it is ok to do said thing to them. It is not ok to “surprise” them with something they said you CAN do to them, UNLESS they SAID you can surprise them w/said act.

It is also vital in a d/s relationship to constantly talk and reevaluate what has been experienced, to “stay on the same page”. With each new experience, we learn new things, and change our minds about how we view things. So, interests an limitations can and most likely WILL change. i never said I disliked Jade. I said I dislike certain aspects of her. If I dislike Jade, I won't have given a 5 star rating to this game, if I didn't like Jade. There are far superior animated games I know of. Even if I find the renders a bit lesser, I gave this game 5 star because I like the game and characters. When I truly dislike a character, I completely purge those games from the search lists, give it a 1 star rating and move on. This game and its characters are not something I dislike. This game is a permastay in my system and I even subscribed to your SubscribeStar before I had financial problems. So I had no idea how you came to the conclusion that I don't like Jade.

And you say she underwent character development. What I mentioned with Ashley happened in Chapter 10. The same thing that happened in chapter 4. So that particular issue of her never got any development. Not that every issue of her needs development. But from what I have seen, the past mistakes she did with her loved ones are the ones she is resolving. Her flaws are something she is not resolving. And all flaws doesn't need to be resolved. Flawed characters are better in that regard. But nobody ever pushes back against the wrongs Jade does.

Maybe you're mocking me on purpose, because with every post you make I feel like you don't read what I post at all.

It's absolutely normal that you don't like something about the game or Jade, it's absolutely normal to express an opinion, even a negative one. This is the third or even fourth time I've said that I'm upset by the lack of interest in the story and some of its elements, which I put a lot of effort into. Don't make me a hysterical person who doesn't take criticism, it's not like that at all. A lot of things in the game have been changed for the better even after I received outright negative feedback where people said the game was bad, but gave reasons why.

I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm trying to give you a hint that maybe you didn't understand my idea to claim I did something wrong?

It kind of boggles my mind that someone would insinuate that KN is unreasonable (as in can't take criticisms or something similar). I've been here for a decent amount of time and KN is about the most open, willing to discuss and levelheaded dev I've come across.
Moreover, it's fairly interesting how a few of us that are pretty sensitive to character traits haven't conflated Jade's behaviour towards certain individuals as 'bullying', given that they all carry their own context and subtle relationship quirks that should give you a better understanding if you care enough to pick up on them.

Also as a sidenote, dom/sub relationships can expand FAR beyond the bedroom depending on what each individual wants. It's far from uncommon.

This isn't to disparage the original poster from posting what they feel like since everyone is free to voice their opinion, but I just felt like it was a really silly argument to get in.

Mate, please don´t underestimate the "silent majority".

For me the way the characters interact and talk with each other make the world you build even more believable and enjoyable. As I said before, imho the story is good. Not only good for a porn VN but genuinly good. My guess is that most of the people enjoy this as well but either cannot put this feeling in words or just don´t feel the need to give a positive feedback. Anyone who works in a field with customers is used to the fact that it is just more likely that people critisize things they don´t like than people telling you something positive if everything goes smooth because that is the expected outcome.

Your VN would not have the review score it has if people would not care about your writing.
