Yeah, I don't see Alexis as controversial... I mean she met a guy she found attractive, joined the mile high club, then thought it was possible she'd never see him again. Now she realizes she has caught feelings for him and the relationship has become a FwB but maybe more.
Even Erynn is nothing compared to Steph. Erynn may have hurt the MC when they were kids but (as I've said a lot today in here) kids are selfish and stupid. We should all get over such mild shit as a childhood crush "breaking" our heart.

You just said it right there "a segment of Erynn's story just before mc came back so we can have this story resolved" my guess is as soon as the MC and Erynn reunited for the first time in 5 years that was her first time as an escort and as soon as she said "you know what lets get out of here" that made her change her mind of becoming an escort so idk that's just my guess.idk why would mc hold a grudge for? he was fucking 12, like wtf??
the other thing is if Erynn really became a whore/escort... idk is there anyone here who would be ok with this and still consider her as a LI option after that revelation?

I understand that everyone needs to have a backstory / past, but the problem is when the girls appear to have some sort of baggage / secret and you only get information released about them slowly and a negative way. It seems to be done to create suspicion about a character.
You then get various theories about what their baggage / secret is, and people start to dislike / hate the character (often for no good reason).
Once you find out the truth, it is often too late, as people had already decided to avoid that character.

Maybe, but who knows only one way to find out and that's waiting until the next update, but I don't think that's it because she still has a bunch of there childhood photos and the fact her mom told the MC she's always talks about him and as for the comment "she made a lot mistakes" it might have been about there childhood why they went there separate ways and why she avoided him so I really don't know that's what makes this game awesome makes you wonder what happened lol

Only hooked up with Alexis so far. However the shower scene presents a red flag, but like how others have said here I also think she might be Layla's sister. If it's a guy that would make it easier to break up things with her but if she's Layla's sister I feel that would make things worse if one chooses to go after Layla. Could just say it's just a hookup tho, maybe she won't take it as hard?
As for Erryn, I went with the "two can play that game" route because I don't want the MC to flat out forgive her, however she seems to really care about him, so eventually forgiveness will play a part of it. But I don't feel like I'll have my MC enter a relationship with her, not as long as Layla remains as cute as she is and head over heels with him (and the fact she didn't seem upset that we chose to stay with Erryn). I'll probably want to resolve the Erryn problem and remain as friends, while going after Layla. I don't know what to think of Alexis yet though...
