I had entirely forgotten about the below conversation Lexi has with the MC when she wakes up after the concert. Going through her playthrough now, and just came across it. I think she did what she thought was best, but it wasn't... enter a ridiculous set of coincidences (Emily not letting her in, him going back out and bumping into Ethan), and boom... some emotional scars and 5 years of separation.
But the second and most important thing is, what does Erynn being wrong have to do with Alexis?
I'll give you the answer ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING... you are simply deflecting, i hope you didn't think you were being smart by doing that...

Going back to "you read but don't understand" i didn't refer to her as an angry person in general... just that the stolen kiss didn't make her too happy about it.
And this was just to counter a guy who was making their pre-start of the game relationship to be much bigger than it actually was, saying that she always liked him when they never had much of a relationship outside of a stolen kiss she didn't even like(and the dude doesn't even remember, he thinks Iris was his first kiss).
If you wanted to counter my actual arguments focus on her being deceitful to the guy she likes and her best friend and her obssessive behaviour over a guy she doesn't have all that much history with

It's obvious she didn't want the MC to leave, as she says exactly that. But why didn't she want MC to leave? I really don't think she was actually indifferent about him leaving. Trying to mentally connect all the dots from the scenes, I think there was actually *something* she felt for MC back then. How much? No idea.
- I don't think she wanted MC to stay solely because of Erynn, because that wouldn't be complicated.
- I don't think it was because of Ethan and Erynn, as she had no idea it was going on.
- The only complication I can see, is she had feelings for MC and she knows Erynn liked MC. That must be why she wishes MC hadn't left... as I don't know what else it could be.
I see this final line as something she's speaking with the benefit of hindsight, she likes him now, no doubt about it, and she wishes the situation she currently finds herself in wasn't so complicated... she wonders if him staying would've been enough to uncomplicate it.
At the same time she recognizes that had he stayed, their current relationship probably wouldn't have played out the same way...
He was 13, looked like a kid and she was 16 close to a young adult(and, again, she expresses being unhappy with the kiss right at the moment), they didn't have much in common(Erynn also says that during their fight, that they never talked much).
Heck that was the thing that was scaring him about "losing Erynn", she was making new friends, her own age, and didn't have time for him... that applies to Alexis too, though he wasn't concerned about her at the time.
Her level of indifference vs actively wanting him to stay (at that particular moment, not right now where she clearly wishes he had stayed) is always going to be speculative and biased vs objective.
I do think this kiss meant more to her than to him, since she remembers everything and connects the dot much easier and he needs a biiiiiig push to remember her at all.
Maybe you will find my take overly negative(like i find yours positive) but it is what is...
PS: I think we got off on the wrong foot, but i don't wish any ill will upon you and i think this latest post was very well reasoned even if i see it differently

Quick little update.
Everything is ready for release. Renders, coding, ... There are still things I'm not happy about but as I mentioned, it will be for another time.
I've tested most? routes and I didn't find any issues so far. Some scenes have a different dialogue depending on whether you are on a multi-path playthrough or not and also which girls you're "dating". I don't know if I did all the combinations but I still have time to test some more. I'm sure something will come up but knock on wood.
I will release episode 13 this Friday, December 20th.
As mentioned last week. I will take a small break during Xmas and New Year and return some time during the 2nd week in January. More news about Episode 14 and future changes then.

I wouldn't rush into playing routes before the update, as there are reworks that could potentially mess up your saves. Plus you'll miss out on the reworked or added stuff.

that's why im just redoing my solo paths and some time after the update gonna replay the game ( probably gonna do a Erynn , Alexis save might include Val and Nikki not sure yet)

I'm dumb and always restart from ep 1 when an update drops because I've got a billion routes and don't remember every little detail on every route and I'm paranoid I'll miss something important. Doubly so on a Val route or the Alexis secret path.

which is why after this update I'm gonna redo my saves with a spreadsheet for certain choices haha don't got time for that now so gonna quickly speed run them just to play the update as I don't know what save is what anymore lol
