At best, all they have is her hanging out in a club. A school would legit get sued to shit for firing her for that.

My big problem with the Ethan storyline is that he legit isn't a threat. We've beaten the shit out of him numerous times and there are a lot of legal ways to deal with him. He feels forced in the game. The game does fine without him. If he and Zach were to vanish, I doubt anybody would care. Unless his Patreon customers love that story, we'd have to suffer through that story, but I doubt they do.

I'll join the party and say that i agree that Ethan is a poor antagonist too, he's a punching bag and even his henchman know he's pathetic.

In a game that gives us good believable characters... we end up having to tackle this blackmail plot that obviously should be handled in court, but since this is a game we have to play hero in a silly plot that only serves to slow things down.

I can't express how much i would rather be done with this and focussing on relationship drama instead.
Nyx knows that's what people like, her show within the show "Entanglement" being all relationship drama, cheating, pitting friends vs friends... yet can't bring herself to put an end to this.

Ps:Zane is already a better antagonist without even trying.

The initial setup of his abandoning her over a misunderstanding and dealing with the consequences upon his return could've been explored. It would've been a better jumping-off point than the forced revenge porn plot, where you have to throw your mind out the window to accept.

I agree besides blackmail rarely ever works well at least in AVN's. It's one of those plot points id stay away from in a AVN either it gets drawn out to long or plot holes.

Really not sure why you're trying to dismiss something a simple 10 second Google search would prove.

Without getting too much into politics, its a red state vs blue state thing. It's only a scandal if she willingly participated, which she hasn't. Unless the school that she applies to wants to pay her alot of money not to teach there, she'd be able to get a job.

On the secret path you don't actually have anything with Alexis... but you do with Layla.

Alexis places them in an obvious a collision course, Iris wants what Alexis has(and maybe Erynn too).

The Erynn path doesn't have much Iris other than the MC daydreaming that they look so similar a couple of times, maybe in the future.

As you say, legally. Maybe you're right and she wouldn't be hired, but then our good ole tax dollars would go towards some dumbass school paying her to stay away.

This is why that Ethan plot sucks and got to go. It encourages debates on Erryn's future career, which is like the least interesting thing about her as opposed to things happening in the game. Instead of ship wars, we're having a debate on whether or not she can be a teacher in the future.

Even better if you can make a case that it was done with malicious intent. Where it is a crime, many places are supposed to take into account that the person is the victim of a crime and it should not be held against them. That'd be like holding the person that got purse snatched, assaulted, mugged, or whatever responsible for what happened in all cases for the rest of their life.

Since the story takes place in the USA, it'd likely fall under what their state/federal law does. I know when MC left Madison Springs he went to Arizona, as he said so. But I can't recall offhand if in-game they said what state Madison Springs is in.

again, nothing to do with laws and all that. It's the general mentality of some people. With or without her "porn" vid out there, if she is doing half-naked modeling, some parents will be offended a person like her is their kids teacher. Secondly she won't get the job in the first place, coz a quick google search will show all that, and the HR people responsible will go for someone less risky. That's how it works in the real world. They will not say it to her face or in writing as it's pretty much illegal, but that's just reality. "Sorry, we're going with someone else"
