I know this is an AVN so logic gets tossed aside more often than not but I find it surprising that Gianna can just rope the MC into her shift considering he's not on the payroll for the bar at all. I know he's a friend to Dylan (I'm completely removing Alexis from this since you could literally be bf/friends/off route) but still, MC's gonna have to do some paperwork or something.
He's gonna work there for one day(one shift) and not get paid for it, the money still goes to Gianna.
From Dylan's perspective it's better that the legal system doesn't know about any of this :ROFLMAO:

Knowing my luck, that's the day something breaks or the MC gets hurt during his shift. It's making something out of nothing but I would just expect this kind of deal in a small town local bar, not one in the middle of what seems to be a decently sized city.

The size of this city changes with the needs of the story :ROFLMAO: , on one hand everyone knows everyone, running into someone by coincidence happens all the time.
On the other hand... this city has a college that people move across the country for, an NBA team, the MCs mom restaurant is booked weeks/months is advance...

And yeah, it wouldn't be a surprise if something bad happens "coincidentally" with the MCs shift.
Nature of the beast, a scene where we serve beers and have no issues isn't worth showing...

that depends what law says, some it's 18 and some 21.
There's also the fact that he's not getting paid for his work.
Though that could be solved by Dylan giving him the money and the MC handing it to Gianna.

The Emily and John can be avoidable??
It's double avoidable, if you have enough Emily points and tell her you don't want her dating John then she won't date him. If you don't have enough points with Emily (because you've been perving on her) and/or you don't mind her dating John but don't want to see it then you can skip the scene when you're talking to Mel.

If you allow her to go on the date, or don't have enough points, and then decide to Skip later, she still goes on the date with John. By hitting skip, you are just skipping over Emily retelling what happened the date to Mel. She still goes on the date and sleeps with John as far as the game is concerned.

The only way to avoid her going on the date, as already mentioned above, is to get enough Emily points and tell her you aren't comfortable with it when she asks. Then the date doesn't happen at all.

what about if you don't get the motorcycle I know I didn't get the option to choose yes or no if I didn't get it but I didn't keep playing that save to find out

Never perved on Emily enough to find out. If I'm not getting the bike I'm doing it wrong. Then I can't take Erynn for a ride, nor Lexi. Val should hopefully be next, as wasn't there a conversation with her on one of the dates? I thought it was on one of her dates with MC?

Emily does mention that John asked her out while she was looking at the bikes, inside the shop, so possibly not?

don't even need to perv on her to not get it haha. during my speed runs prior to the update if I didn't throw her in the pool I wouldn't get it but everything else was positive and non pervy

I don't care what anyone says, that's a dick move in my opinion and you don't even have to watch it if you don't want to. She's a young, beautiful woman in the prime of her life and deserves to have some fun and perhaps even find love. Anyone denying that to their mother is not a nice person in my opinion.

If it turns out that the only way to get a Brooke/Emily relationship is denying John, then I'll go back and change it, but until then, I'm not denying Emily a chance at happiness. :)

Emily has 18 points or so available before the bike check (based on route) and you need 13 for the bike. Of course, Emily has some -4 swings too, so depending on how it goes you could easily end up no bike.

I've got each LI done 4 times, so my bases are covered:
  • Preferred Emily not goin on the date with John (my head canon official path):
    • Went along with the plan at the bar with John
    • Intervened to save Erynn at the bar
  • Approved Emily going on the date with John:
    • Went along with the plan at the bar with John
    • Intervened to save Erynn at the bar
I don't mind John by any means. But by the time John's opportunity presents itself I've already left the station on the mommy Brooke hope train. Those are my primary head canon saves, the John ones are others are just to see what happens with John.

Since the intervention or not-intervention have pretty much merged after returning the phone at Erynn's request, and no difference as of up to the last update, I'm personally leaning towards intervention being my head canon route.

In order to lose points, you need to take more "pervy" choices (look at her in the pool) and the such. But you are right there are opportunities to just not gain points....
