When starting this VN as You now may have seen.

Clear choice for me in choosing Erynn, to see how it plays out to the end.
Habit in testing VN's, choose an individual or couple(s).
Can always go back another time to view others.

Regardless Nyx choice in doing so.
Lexi has the most content of all characters to this point of the VN.
Has put off several people a lot, due to Nyx choice(s) of content and or lack there of per character(s).

Well, I will share some inside stuff here about Alexis - not storywise, so no spoiler. This is as far as I remember from back wenn Intertwined started out:
Alexis was planned as a side character, like in "scene on the plane and never having a proper meeting with the MC again after"-side character. But the Patrons absolutely loved her. So Nyx made her a main LI and Alexis keeped rocking it. She is leading or at least top 3 in nearly every poll from the beginning to even today.

And it may come as a surprise, but yes people tend not to give non-optical stuff the highest priority in a porn game. That being said and here comes a bit of a spoiler, for those that haven't played far in or missed it:

The PC hasn't been without girlfriend or at least fuck buddy since he was 15 or 16yo according to the flashbacks. Even if the player rejects Alexis, it's pretty much canon that for the PC this would be the exception rather than the rule. I think he said he was in a relationship with Iris for two years and he claims to have had 5-10 partners, if I remember correctly. That's some weird math for one, but also a strong hint about the PC's character.
The PC may be hung up on Erynn, but he was still living his best life regardless and there's no particular reason for why Alexis couldn't be part of it. She's basically a stranger to him and he doesn't even remember that she was his first kiss. She has more of a claim than all the other 5-10 strangers and if Erynn didn't matter when it came to hooking up with them, why would she matter for stranger nr. 11?
Getting mad about Alexis' betrayal only makes sense, if the PC gets mad for Erynn's sake. But it's not like he was expecting to hook up with her and the only thing in their way is Alexis. Even after reconnecting he doesn't really make a move and it's Erynn instead who has to take the initiative.

Iris "Girlfriend" content didn't show up until last update, EP9.

Alexis was not forthcoming, manipulated, lied and pretty much been a rotten self seeking So Called friend.

Justify her dishonesty all You wish, changes nothing at all.
