Layla and Alexis were not close when they were young, to explain why MC never saw Layla before, but they grew close during MC's absence. They are already close before MC comes back. That's why Layla can notice the changes in her sister's behavior. Everyone notices Alexis is happier, especially Erynn. Her father too. It's just that the scene in episode 11 makes it even more obvious to him that her current boyfriend is a good thing even for him

Alexis' other problem to me is that she has incredibly high standards for her boyfriend. MC has to be close to perfect, and make almost no mistake towards her. Prince charming, essentially. Even if she is easy going in the relationship and forgives him a lot of small mistakes (mainly because she just made huge mistakes herself, forcing her to be more forgiving). She has her parents' perfect relationship as an example everyday. As the relationship grows, it might become harder to maintain it.

For Tori, do I need to win the race? That conflicts with the Alexis path, since you hang out with her instead of training with the team, and finish 4th.

you are not forced to go on that date with Alexis, you can go train with Layla and still be on Alexis' path.
but eventually, with the game enforcing fidelity, you will be discovered sooner or later anyway, if you fuck everyone while being with Alexis.

no relationship is perfect. but it's presented as a very good relationship in the present. in the past, they had tons of drama for sure, like the fact that they had their first child very young and had to deal with that, or the fact that he has a very demanding career and was pretty much absent from home all the time (hence the dogs), and he had to choose between his career and his family...

but as long as Nyx wants to be funded by Patreon, MC cannot have the same father as any of the girl he can fuck. so there is no way Santi is anyone's father other than MC's.
