The game kinda lacks in the choices department. You are forced to do a lot of things with no option to avoid them. I stopped playing the game because of that.
When you go to the pool (very early on) you have to choose between who looks better in their swimsuit (or whatever) and there's no choice that helps you avoid picking anyone. Like a "Oh, that's a hard question to answer" or "I don't know" etc
I doubt you can even finish the game solo. You care about them too much? how about the other girls in all those other games you've played? you are cheating on them right now. Your love isn't true. It is only your lust.
No game is perfect and will offer every choice our collective brains can think of... it will always be limited by what the author thinks is important and wants us to focus on(and what she can render in a reasonable timeframe).
With that in mind this game has one of the most complex pathing and choices i've seen in AVNs and seems to follow a solid logic of keeping it's characters "alive".
If you spend time with someone>something happens directly.
If you don't spend time with this person, she's up to something off screen, the game does a good job making characters exist off screen and have their own lives.
Sometimes you end up learning things about a character in scene where a different character is the focus, which is interesting and makes multiple playthroughs worthwhile.
This game can be a romance if you focus on a girl, or the tale about the crazy life of a womanizing boy.
I'm not one to declare love for fictional characters(i may do it in a playful way).
But some characters manage to hit closer to home and get me invested in her story beyond "i'll fuck her because horny", i have more than one that got me invested here, some games fail to achieve this goal with any character(s) in which case they do become pure lust.
