I wouldn't worry about that, if you watch the Emily/John scene, he clearly had different back tattoos then Melissa's John. I mean, I know you can "paint" over them but only to a degree I think. It would have to me a major fix. Plus, as someone pointed out to me when I thought the MC's dad was Layla/Lexi's dad, the dev said early on there would be no incest in this AVN.
Say that if the dev next year decide to abandon the game, and you couldn't even bang the girl you liked lol.

I think it depends on your path. This was a pretty big update if you are on the Valeria path, but not so much if you are on others. This is what happens with AVNs with a ton of LIs... At first, it is a lot of fun, but as the story develops, you have to wait a few updates for your girl to come back around.
Also, I think the dev backed herself into a corner with Nikki and Cora. Reading between the lines, I think she regrets carrying the paths past the flashbacks so now she has to deal with two more characters that are not really part of the whole "intertwined" story.
Even if she added that flashback, didn't mean she had to bring them back into his life. He is already in a different city, he kind of moved on. Most relationships like that ends when a person moves to another area etc. But she insisted in making them come to see him in his current location. If she was regretting it, she wouldn't keep bringing them both into his life. MC had already forgotten about them untill they showed up again at his door lol.

I didn't skip. But she didn't need to bring them back once he moved to a new city. there are many ways one can write a story. THe reason why she is still in his life is because Nyx wanted to, reason why I am saying she didn't regret it. maybe you should be the one to read the comments
Also it has probably been over a year since I last played this game. I am not like most people in this forum that doesn't do anything else other than replay these games a thousand of times and comment here everyday with no breaks.

I wouldn't use the tattoos as an indicator of if he's a different guy, especially when Nyx has changed a few things from previous episodes because she ended up not liking them (new house model, ever changing haircuts).
The only thing I take into account is what Erynn's dad was described as. Tall, blonde, blue eyes and tattoos.
Him being described as very Nordic and a few episodes later Erynn having her Valkyrie shoot could be a red herring, but I still think John will be her dad.
It's all INTERTWINED, you know?

Anytime Nyx is given a chance to troll a certain subset of her audience, she will take it, which is how I interpret rendering the John/Emily date. 100% agree we didn't have to see it, I don't really care about it either way but she probably got a kick out of the imagined reactions certain people would have.

Yeah, I made this observation previously with the tattoos but someone said that Nyx had been changing John's tattoos, so we can't necessarily use that as an argument for it being a different John.

It is a slow burn sure and depending on which LI you chose to go for you could literally end up not seeing a single sex scene with them up to this point (Elena, Valerie) and some LI's that you may be interested in are introduced way too late into the story. Me personally, i enjoy slow burns more instead of just banging all the time in the every second scene. That said, even for one such as myself it sometimes does feel a bit too slow, i feel like the dev didn't manage to strike that healthy balance. But i guess this is what happens when you have so many characters and you want to tell each of their stories in a decently sized way. There just isn't enough time for the dev to focus on everyone all the time i would imagine. That said, it is borderline criminal at this point that some of the LI's haven't even gotten their proper screen time even this far into the development and haven't progressed much since the start at all while others have multiple scenes. Its like the dev is focusing only on her favorites and leaving the other that some other people may like more to the sidelines

The only things we can guarantee is that John fits the description and he recognises Erynn looks a lot like someone he knew from the past.

This probably is my incest rotten brain talking as i often go for those tags in VN's and i know Nyx said early on that there will be no incest, but i wanted Emily for myself and there were some hints in the past for a long time now that it may happen at some point. There have been quite a few instances now where Nyx on purpose was making certain innuendos that could take the story in that direction (EP12 end was one of those for instance). Why else does Emily get way more points than almost every other girl in the game? Just for story enrichment and/or trolling those of us who wouldn't mind those scenarios to take place?. Clearly at some point there was at least a desire to make something with that but Nyx decided to take it in a different direction as of late. I just wish we as a player had some choice in the matter if we want her to date John or not because as it stands all those points we gathered towards her have no meaning or impact whatsoever

Emily's points are pretty minimal, I'm sure it's less than 10.
If points were an indication of fucking, when is the Zach path opening?

The early Emily points were the setup to the bike but we didn't know that for a long time. We don't know where the new Emily points will go yet. The points have always been about doing the non incest thing, being a good son, having playful fun with her, etc.

The points for Emily are not for romantic reasons, they are controlling how much trust she gives MC and whether you get a motorbike (which helps with other LIs) is controlled by the Emily RP.
You did get a choice as to whether to encourage Emily to go on a date with John and then you also had a chance to skip Emily telling Melissa what happened on the date. In order to see Emily fucking John you gave her encouragement to date John and you chose not to skip the scene when she's talking to Melissa. That's all on you, not on Nyx.

Emily has 24 points, 4 are exclusive to being on a Nikki/Cara route where you go back for the wedding and get into it with Andres. The bike birthday gift requires 13 points.

It's possible to not get the bike? I think that might be the only route I haven't done.

True but i personally wouldn't mind, IMO Emily is one of the hottest girls in the game. Just another troll Nyx put us through
