It is a bit weird. I mean there are choices that imply the MC could choose to be attracted to his mom. Looking at her in the pool, kissing her on the lips, a few scenes in Mom's bedroom... so I get it. But again, Nyx said early on (and I'm paraphrasing) "no incest ever" and so far she has stuck to that.
I mean, i don't mind it, its just interesting how Nyx seemingly loves to troll us for the things some of us may like. I guess it makes for potential drama moments in the story so that's probably her goal in the end
Looking at her in the pool costs you Emily points because it goes against what the Emily points are for: rewarding you for having a good mother/son relationship since MC was an ass to her in the past. The kiss on the lips is in reference to an earlier scene where they accidentally kissed and got embarrassed/later laughed about it. The bedroom scene where you see her dressing is some combination Nyx troll/reward, because you have to have max Emily points to see it. Everyone who thought there was going to be incest was just deluding themselves.
Even the scene where you share her bed on Nikki/Cara route and you wake up with titty in hand, the MC is actively repulsed at the thought.
Those choices always earned negative RP with Emily though. I can see where it comes across as incest baiting but I'm not sure that was Nyx's intention. There was a planned storyline that was abandoned but was due to be triggered in ep 9 where MC would side with Ethan and Zach during their confrontation scene. If you were to ask me for two characters who would stare at their Mom when they were topless and would try and spy on their Mom getting dressed then Zach and Ethan would be top of the list. I think the trigger for MC being on the corruption path would have been refusing to believe Erynn's version of the confession story, having low points with Emily (by being pervy with her), not helping Erynn when she was being abused by Ethan (therefore nuking Erynn and Alexis paths) and maxing points with Zach (nuking the Layla, Elena and Val paths).
How do you feel about Val not being picked up after a traumatic event? She continues to flirt and tease, no signs of any physical intimacy yet.
Totally agree, but most players are not aware of when + or - points are awarded. I don't usually look at that until I have played through it a couple of times. So my only point was I can understand why some people thought that.

I'm not a woman so I can't speak for them. I would think there is a huge chasm between stroking and being stroked off and inviting someone inside you, especially since that comes with the possibilities of pregnancy and STDs.

Yeah that's the one thing Val's path did better at for sure. I think why I perfer Erynn's date tho is because of 2 big reasons. Her character went from this character that has freak outs when things get too sexual to someone that is now comfortable around the MC and is acting more bold and willing to show off her sexual side a bit more than in the past. So for me the entire date showed this off in away I liked. I also get the feeling now we don't need to deal with Ethan to do the deed anymore I think it might be beforehand now within the that 2 updates / 2 times we get some alone time with her at least.
I still wouldn't care other than the fact the game would be dead , sex is the last thing I care about in these games especially this one. I prefer all the hangouts and general interactions more anyday of the week. I'd 100% take a romantic date scene over having sex with Erynn 100% of the time
I do agree but I think Erynn is at the point with the MC now she isn't worried or scared about any of that as of the last update. I think this more her coming out of her shell around him and forcing herself to act more bold around him , as she came to realize she is overthinking or freaking to much around him and he is the 1 person she does trust. But yeah I think if she thought about the potential risk of doing any of that she might go back to being to scared to do it. I think she is just simply letting loose and not thinking when around the MC as she is forcing herself but that is just my line of thinking.
