Why do you guys think that someone random like ethan will die? I thought it was some of the girls, to cut content
how is Ethan random???? he is a part of the alot of the story. Now someone random would be how Rachael died or if Lucas , Daryl or Tori died but not Ethan that would not be a random death at all.

how is Ethan random????
If not one of the girls, completely random to me. Ethan only exists bc of the blackmail, with that out of the way, he's barely noticeable;

But that is irrelevant, my question was, why not one of the girls, I thought that was the point of the death

well just cause he is random to you doesn't make it random but each to their own. But I do think the deaths is gonna be Ethan + 1 of the girls Iris is my vote maybe Val depending on what happens in the next few updates

Hot take maybe...No one should have died and I don't think it improves the story in any way so I'm skeptical about future deaths.

Rachel's death makes Emily sad and MC reflective for all of five seconds before it's barely discussed again. Killing another LI will just be more shock value unless it's done extremely well.

I'm not against death in stories, it can be impactful. I just don't think it had much impact here since Rachel was such a minor part of the story even if you did her content. If you tie Rachel to the escort story somehow (Ethan involvement and she gets paired with a dangerous client) it's sad but doesn't make Ethan any better or worse than he already was.

yeah with how the story is I really don't think are deaths are needed or called for tbh but since Nyx wants them I feel Ethan has to be 1 of them

That's exactly my point, Ethan or any other random characters dying holds almost no impact to the story, thats why my question

I may be miss remembering, but I thought Nyx regretted having too much LIs on the game and wanted to cut some content out

Yeah Rachel death only makes sense with dropped storyline, her disappearing with some money and then having Ethan die is more impactful IMO

I don't like Ethan so it doesn't matter to me if he dies or goes to jail. Hell I'd settle for him being in the cuck chair while MC impregnates Erynn (that's oddly specific). If he wants to hold MC down to show him Erynn's sex tape, I can give him a front row seat to one.

I just look at Intertwined as an AVN based on a lot of teen soaps like The OC, One Tree Hill, 90210, etc. In those, death almost always did nothing for the show or the show was worse off because of it. I don't think I've ever looked at an Intertwined character and thought..."They should die, that's good drama."

Zach's an idiot but humiliating him would be fine, death feels unhinged. Nikki getting ran over in the old storyline sounds bad but that's just looking back with the advantage of hindsight considering she became popular.

yeah especially cause imo the story telling is the weakpoint and I feel a death needs to be meaningful or have some impact. I mean id love for Ethan to die just because but like you said idc how we handle him as long as he is handled. I see this game as one more for drama and character building / romance, so to me the best thing for the actual story / main plot just keep it simple.

I've played till the latest chapter last night, and now i've felt deathflags for another character
Just keep enjoying it, and don't get too caught up in the comments and spoiling your experience! Everything will turn out fine in the end (everything may well not turn out fine in the end...).
