Perspective! is meant to be two part: Primary MC and not any other in the game. 2nd view is of through the DEV's eyes, but only just enough to know what is really going on at the moment. not foresight. this view is to allow for fun in our choice(s). This is needed to give the Player a sense of being in the world created by the DEV.

When we play we put ourselves in the Role as the MC. So Erynn can bite it in my opinion. I'm all for second chances. but she is in such a mess right now that all she remembers is that when she was with the MC all was right in her world. When he left it began to fall apart and she wants him back to fix it. Her letters, did he lie and keep them! but not read them (would be great plot twist if so). I cant see her thinking he can fix anything as he was just her friend no back story telling us he could fix anything he was just a love struck child back then. I am always there for my true friends but that is all Erynn is now not a LI. too messed up and though he did not read the letters to MC she never said "I'm sorry" I missed you so much. MC is the one who says lets start over.

That said I have played where Erynn and MC are more than friends as I want as much content as the Dev will provide.
NYX is a fantastic creator with skills that outshine many if not most Devs on this sight. We love to hate a character so much it seems as if she is real to us all. that is the true testament of this VN. show me a VN with characters as well written and you will see a DEV with strong Following and Patrons wanting More More and More from them.

It's one thing to criticize her for her actions and behaviour, but people wanting her to be harmed because she once mistreated the MC when they were younger is just misguided hostility imo. Those negative feelings about Erynn are mostly based on their own reading of her, rather than what is being portrayed in the story I feel. And other than one moment when Lexi comforted MC, she had no interest in him when they were younger. They weren't friends before, and when MC moved, if she really cared, why didn't she try to contact MC? Erynn tried to call and wrote letters at least.

It's like, a single moment with Lexi comforting MC has made Lexi an angel and Erynn a demon for not doing the same. Yet, there was an entire friendship Erynn had with MC prior to that. Erynn did like MC enough to be friends in the first place. Yes in my case current status for me is that Alexis has he better story and also more dense scenes in the current game status.
As i wrote already maybe Nyx will turn tables later and maybe she turns Alexis in a bad person and Erynn will get a better attention.

the hate erynn gets is very weird to me, i see no problem with her, i think some stay away from her and dont like her because they dont want to become jealous in the slightest, she was blackmailed into the escort stuff, has a tape of her having sex with someone, gets touched when she is doing that work.. some people cant handle even the slightest bit of jealousy and just want nothing to do with it. Im not someone who likes NTR but there are people who are so against it all that even the slightest hint of maybe getting jealous in the future will make them run a mile and there is nothing wrong with that.
