probably one of my favorite things about games like renpy stuff is you can easily dive in and learn and explore what's going on, toying around with making your own changes or paths, it's like the elder scrolls of adult games (redundant?)

Brothers, help me out with this one, please:

I was using scrappy's mod. With it, I could tell Nikki that we had to chat (disclosing to her that the MC have met someone - Layla) and then, when leaving, she says she won't be as forgiving next time around (I had the weekend with her). I thought she'd leave when the "we need to talk" option is picked.

Then, I tried something else with Koga's mod. With it, I didn't commit to Layla beforehand, but when I told Nikki that we had to talk, she left with Emily driving.

What's the difference between these scenarios? Between telling Nikki that you have to talk and still have your weekend with her and telling her the same with her leaving almost right away?
