I can't recall if Alexis actually knows about the sextape or just knows Erynn is having problems with Ethan and knows from her own experience that Ethan is a scumbag but Alexis is the only real option for Erynn to confide him, and as she was a naive teenager like Erynn at the time she wouldn't have been much help.

From Erynn's perspective what else can she do? She doesn't want to tell Mel, Zane, idk if Lexi knows but she's willing to tell MC whom she didn't see for 5 years. People tend to change in that time so a person that you remember as good in 5 years can turn bad if you didn't had interaction with that person.

As for Zane part, that's only speculation. Even if Zane knows Ethan personaly how can she know that Zane is aware of Ethan's move? How can she know at all if Zane is involved or if he would help her if she didn't ask and this does involve Zane?

It's not exactly like that. When you play the game it's your game so you chose the route (girls). However in the case of Erynn it's more complicated. Firstly she is blackmailed by Ethan thanks to that sex tape. Thanks to that sex tape he forces her to do things for him, be a escort girl, before that she went on prom with him and ditched her bf Zane. If she doesn't do what Ethan demands he'll upload sex tape on internet. And Erynn does go to become Math teacher so you can presume how things would play for her i Ethan would upload video for whole world to see. I mean firstly there's no school in state that would employ her and even if one school would give her employment well we all were kids at one point so lets not pretend like we didn't explore porn stuf on internet cause i surely did. So you can imagine how the things would work for her if she was in the class and her students were not paying atention to her but using their imagination and what kind of embarassment would it be for her if she overheard one of the students talking about her in that video. However even though MC is a childhood friend of Erynn she still doesn't have right to demand anything from MC. She didn't hear or see him in 5 years and that problem of sex tape and whole blackmail by Ethan started way before MC returned. And that's the part that bothers me, couldn't she ask for help from Zane to see if he was aware of all of this, her mom Mel or Lexi? I find the situation quite realistically represented by Nyx. Erynn is a very young woman with limited life experience.

We are all from different countries here, so of course it is always difficult to judge how young women would act in other countries and cultures. I can only speak for my culture and here 18 year old girls who are being blackmailed with a sex tape would not necessarily go to their parents or partners. That's exactly why such blackmail works. Young women feel ashamed in this respect. Societal stigmas against sexually active girls are still widespread, even in civilized societies.

Also, Erynn doesn't go to MC voluntarily. He literally forced her to testify. Nor does she expect his help and has only been waiting for him as a white knight in shining armor. As a player, you must actively offer help. Erynn does not ask for it.

My problem with that is just not believable Ethan had that video for 3+ years and the only thing he got out of blackmailing Erynn was her modeling for him. Of course Nyx can't go there because of how volatile that subject is for most of the AVN playerbase and what we are left is a storyline that just doesn't seem well thought out.

No one said it's simple but here's the idea, set him up. Get a camera and audio recorder so you can get his confesion. Go to the police, report him for blackmail and abuse, let the cops deal with him, get a RO as well and make him delete every single copy of video. And like MikeOG said she's to stupid to figure things on her own.
