What you described is more "Magic Dick Syndrome" than Harem. And the MC in this VN is definitely suffering from MDS.

Harem, to me, is when MC is in a sexual and romantic relationship with multiple girls and all of the participating girls are not only in the know, but they're all also perfectly comfortable with MC having multiple girlfriends. (IMO not many VN authors know how to pull off the Harem tag without it turning into a complete groaner or a creepy sex cult).

This VN is definitely not a harem. MC doesn't tell the girls who all he's banging, and it can and will bite him in the ass.

pretty sure iv seen on her discord she wont add ntr so if that was an idea she had im pretty sure it was scrapped early

i can kind of see what your saying even though im glad we wont get something like that. but i think she is a good enough writer to have consequences that wont divide the fan base like that would

Honestly it's not MCs problem. I get it that MC and Erynn are childhood friends but two of them didn't hear in five years. So everything she did in meanwhile it's on her. I also get it that Ethan did scum move by filming her having sex with Zane, was that guys name? Anyhow it's the problem of Erynn and Zane, not MC. She can ask for help but MC doesn't owe her a thing. The only person who should be aware of what's going on is Zane and if shi didn't al ready she should def inform Zane what's going on.

As of part NTR, i for one am not fan of it and this is just my opinion. Your logic is on place that if MC rejects helping Erynn she could go back to Zane. I personaly would like for Nyx to tell the story however she wants and all elements to the game that she thinks are necesary.

just started the game, does melissa have a route ? and does it have good scenes ?
So i can just focus on her only, since this game sadly its not a harem game.

No route yet (probably won't be in the future either) only a dream sequence (Melissa's dream not MC's dream).

I know that. I know that Ethan promissed her to delete the video if she went with him to prom. The moment she saw Ethan wasn't fulfiling his side of the bargain she shoud've contact Zane or talk to Mel or idk., instead of making it another persons problem that have no conection to it at all. Now this matter on it's own is bad.

That's easy for an outsider to say. She was a teenager at the time. It's not uncommon for her to try to keep her mother and ex-boyfriend out of the loop and turn to someone else she trusts instead. Although she didn't even do that. MC found out most of it for himself and Erynn was mentally exhausted at the moment and couldn't kept up the facade. Apart from that, many significantly older and more experienced people do not manage to defend themselves against blackmail. Especially if this blackmail takes place by means of videos or images that shame those affected. It's not entirely fair to blame Erynn for something other humans can't do either. I find the situation quite realistically represented by Nyx. Erynn is a very young woman with limited life experience.

She doesn't want Mel to know about the sextape, her knowing is one of the reasons for the blackmail, obviously she wouldn't go to Mel about it. As for going to Zane, how does she know that he would help her? For all she knows Ethan got the tape from Zane and he knows about Ethan's blackmail and doesn't care.

I can't recall if Alexis actually knows about the sextape or just knows Erynn is having problems with Ethan and knows from her own experience that Ethan is a scumbag but Alexis is the only real option for Erynn to confide him, and as she was a naive teenager like Erynn at the time she wouldn't have been much help.

Well I did not help Erynn cuz of all of her lies, and seems like she is now a whore . Glad I stayed away from that route.
Now I want to see whats next to come
