sequel/ prequel same ballpark
It's not a sequel.
Once in a Lifetime was funny, Eternum started good, but now it's just mediocre. Also not a sequel.
Y'all need to learn the definitions of sequel and prequel. Miles: just because they're by the same creator doesn't make it related, which sequels and prequels are. They are related to the previous work, either taking place after (sequel) or before (prequel). Acting Lessons has no relationship at all with BaD (though they both mention the school and fraternity, AL doesn't fit in the timeline of BaD, it seems to be the genesis of the thought that became BaD). There is no canonical connection.

Tremonia: OAILT and Eternum not only take place in the same universe, they refer to each other. Though they are different genres (maybe), they are definitely related, so Eternum is a sequel. Quality has no impact on it. u4ia is definitely a sequel to LoF, as there is character overlap, and continuation of the timeline from LoF. It is NOT LoF2, but it is a sequel.

So what. Most of the movies takes place in this universe and they're not sequels.

Urm... no.

That's a "no" from me.

Good thing that you're not the one who gets to decide anything for anyone other than yourself, then, isn't it?

Well, good thing I still know better. In a sequel, the plot is continued after the story of the previous work has been completed. It is not absolutely necessary for the sequel to follow on seamlessly from the plot of the previous work. However, references to characters or events should be recognizable. Neither in Eternum nor in u4ia is this decisive point the case. Cameos or the fact that an absolutely minor character (Christine in LoF) appears as a main character does not make a sequel. Would that be the case Chasing Sunsets or Artemis would be sequels of Leap Of Faith, or the other way around. What you mean is a spin-off. That's what they are. But in case of Eternum even this is debateable.

But, hey, this is the Intertwined thread, isn't it? Philological debates about definitions of terms are a bit too off-topic. Don't you think so?

I hope for the other game. I really love to play Intertwined, but let's face the fact: sequels are always shit.
I honestly only want Intertwined 2 because I want more time with the characters from this game even if they dont get as much screen time or a smaller role. So it's more about me being Selfish

Badik happens in the timeline before the original story in an organization that features pretty prominently in the original story. How is that not a prequel?

People are in here talking about BaDIK and Eternum but I just want to remind everyone that Erynn's ass is the most spankable.
Contrary to the Mc's actions, Elena's ass is easily more spankable.

Time to track how many ass smacks each LI gets. That ultimately determines who is most spank able. My guess is Erynn still but Layla might be a contender.
