Could there be a remote possibility that URM could fix the savegames in chapter 15? That would be a blessing. Or a mod? Or all we all doomed to start fresh?

You can create variables, which can possibly make such saves playable, but you have to have a save loaded for it to work (I believe). So one issue with that is that broken saves often won't load at all to give you the opportunity. Ultimately, we'll have to wait to find out, but it would be nice if it's something that can be "fixed" with URM.

You would also need to know exactly what code changed and which variables were broke also but as you say, the biggest issue would be getting the save to load in the first place.

Lot of hassle, easier to just skip through again....if one can be bothered doing that...yet....again....

Indeed. Sometimes it's easy - playing the recent BaDIK update, it would allow me to play a save up to a point, and then give me an error message saying "such and such a variable is not defined", so I could then create the variable and play on. It's not always so straightforward there though, as sometimes it needs to be set to a certain number, and there's no indication of what numbers are possible, or which is correct.

More than likely though, it just won't load the save, so everyone is screwed. I'm still hoping for a version of the paragraph above though, as it will be a lot quicker and easier than skipping through everything...

Since I have to translate the game anyway, I'm using the program Unren. It has a really nice feature that allows me to use the TAB KEY the first time I start it. And because I know my remaining routes very well, it will most likely only take me an hour or two to get up to date!

So I'm taking it easy.

The first time through might be somewhat fun, that feeling of "Ohhh... this is new" you get from watching an extended edition of a movie you are already familiar. It can be mildly entertaining.
The control button is still getting a workout whenever i detect a scene is mostly the same, but there's "some" entertainment.

Anything after the first run will be painful no doubt, and this game is built for multiple playthroughs, currently i have 7 saves ready to go...
And then there's the fact that Nyx has trouble planning ahead, what she needs to keep track for the future...
This is the 3rd reset and i have no reason to believe it will be the last.
