nope, don't get you panties in a twist... they are relatively minor reworks she is doing while developing new content in the majority of her time. Nothing like the neverending Ocean reworks.

Steam will reject it. As far as I know they don't allow any highschool games with sexual content.
That's what scares me about all reworks made for steam. Devs will do anything for a buck now and days including destroying their own game in the process. Summer's Gone went from a game i actively supported to stop playing entirely with all the changes ocean made in order to get it in the steam store.

I'm pretty sure Nyx said that she is reworking simply because she's got better assets now and she's better at doing the rendering so she thinks she should make the earlier chapters look better as they were looking quite dated. She's never mentioned Steam, and as she's had so many issues with people reporting her to Patreon I doubt she'd try and go for Steam when that's usually worse for devs who try and push boundaries like she does.

It probably will rejected 10 times, and needs to be rewritten etc...
Well it went to hell anyway, a few updates back, I lost track of the story with so many extra girl stories...

hs and college don't differ that much that just renaming hs to college would cause problems story and lexi et co can be on college's last year while mc et co are 1st year students.
applications for college(s) wouldn't make difference since they are still in hs at this point.
this year by xmas or early next year.
well that worked for other dev although he had to make totally new game with older girls and plot etc so atm he makes patreon (hs girls, deffo looking underagers and fucking nun (dunno if steam would reject that)) and steam versions once in a while. only same thing in both versions are names.

This, exactly I find it amusing after someone shared what Nyx (thanks Tremonia) posted in her Patreon page how the rumors started boiling.

but if needs to do more than few cosmetic changes then that depends how quickly nyx can do changes.

How many times do people need to say that Nyx IS NOT reworking the game for Steam? She has never mentioned Steam, she gave her reason for doing the rework and IT WAS NOT for Steam.
As for the rework making the updates take longer, she has 7000 renders for the next update since March while doing the rework in the background, for context, she is working a full time job as well as developing this game, she also only has one rig to do all her rendering while other devs who have multiple better rigs have produced less renders since December.

that depends what changes steam wants if/when nyx tries to get this accepted.
Yup she was unhappy with how the early chapters looked, locations like the school, Melissa's backyard and pool and even the MC/Emily's house looked too basic, and she wanted to upgrade them.
The graphical remake is something she's doing on her own volition without external pressure.
In general the remake isn't supposed to alter the story, maybe add some extra details and context.
The exception to that is the past Iris relationship and adjustment of the age of the MC, this is something she wasn't really keen on doing, but decided to add to shut people up.
Let's see if it ends on Steam, great for her if it does, best of luck.
But if it doesn't... doesn't really change things for me.
