In general the remake isn't supposed to alter the story, maybe add some extra details and context.

What I like best about the remakes is apart from the cosmetic improvements, she's greatly improved the renders of the characters' facial expressions - especially the ladies. It's added so much more subtle, emotional nuances.

Layla's different versions of "I want to fuck you" expressions alone are worth it.

(Love the facial expression when Erynn says topless. You can imagine her doing it in a subtle, mock dramatic kind of way.)

The way Layla is always staring... even when others are talking, even when she's in a table having a conversation with her friends(which she failed to pay attention to), is quite a nice touch.

Playing through again and something irks me.

Emily states that she got pregnant before she ever met Andres, but in the flashback where she tells Santi she is pregnant, he makes a comment about her "finally" breaking up with him. Makes it seem they were together for a while, when in actuality, it wouldn't have been more than a few months.

lol this thread was pooping off for a few days and I forgot to look at it if. regarding steam I think if she plans to do it it won't be till after the game is completed. There is mention in the FAQ on her discord alot needs to be done first, so I think Nyx is considering it maybe at some point. Like maybe the pateron version being the true version and a steam version I know at least one other dev that is doing that.

I don't think it's ever stated how long Santi and Emily were together before she got pregnant, and I'm not sure how Emily being pregnant before she met Andres has an impact on the length of her relationship with Santi.

Santiago and Emily had a on again, off again, back and forth style relationship for a while before Emily started dating Andres.
Andres himself only went after Emily when Santiago "stole" Andres girl(identity still unknown).

It's likely that on their last "on" period, Santi got Emily preggo and shortly after they had another fight and split up (maybe due to Santiago already eyeing up mystery Andres crush...), and this led to Emily-Andres not much later than the final Emily-Santi encounter, maybe a couple of days.

Emily then finds out she's pregnant a month later, while she's dating Andres, when she doesn't get her period(this is where we pickup in the Emily-Andres-Santi flashback).

Can't be Melissa because she didn't know Andres before the scene at the park.

I'm not questioning how long Emily and Santi were together, only why he would be relieved that her and Andres "finally" broke up, despite Emily and Andres only being together for as long as it took for them to meet, date and then Emily discover she was pregnant.

She was with Andres a couple months max and Santi's comment makes it seem he was pining over her for much longer.

Then again, I'm still not 100% that Santi is MC dad. Emily was shown to be very promiscuous in her college days and if she was willing to lie to her son for 18 years about who his father is, what's to stop her lying about it to Santi?

I don't think that we would have had all of the "He's not your dad!" admission from Emily, about Andres unless she (and Nyx) was certain that Santi is the MC's biological father.
It also wouldn't make much sense now story wise, for it to be revealed that Andres is the MC's biological father after all and Emily just got her dates wrong. What an anti-climax that would be
