Wow, that went from 0 to 100 fast. There are not many flashbacks regarding either Erynn or Alexis, so your need justify having receipts is pretty thin. Not reading into what may or may not be there, as it is never stated, we can only surmise.
Erynn handled the entire flashback very poorly. Was she surprised by the question? Sure. Did she need to turn and go back to Ethan to laugh over a social media post in the middle of that conversation? That's a very poor thing to do. Was it smart to verbally spar with Ethan instead of checking up on the MC and resolving the question she left hanging? Not at all. Sure she tried to defend the MC, but he doesn't know that (we do) and even then is that the priority? Why not go find the MC and talk about his question and see how he's doing?
The catalyst to the whole thing was a misunderstanding because of Erynn. Had she just gone to the MC instead of Ethan, the whole him leaving town would likely have never happened.
The fact you see Alexis as angry, is surprising. She had no anger response at all. Her facial expression was of surprise and shock, and her thoughts were questions and not anger/accusations. Alexis' response to check up on the MC was by far the most compassionate moment of the entire flashback. Erynn didn't exhibit one compassionate or romantic moment in that entire scene to the MC.
Congratulations, it's like you read but don't understand, it's kind of amazing actually...
First you think Erynn didn't handle the situation in the best way?
You might be surprised... but i think so too...
I think she did what she thought was best, but it wasn't... enter a ridiculous set of coincidences (Emily not letting her in, him going back out and bumping into Ethan), and boom... some emotional scars and 5 years of separation.
But the second and most important thing is, what does Erynn being wrong have to do with Alexis?
I'll give you the answer ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING... you are simply deflecting, i hope you didn't think you were being smart by doing that...
Since you asked so kindly... have some receipts.
Would you look at that??? It seems there are scenes outside the flashbacks that also refer to the events of 5 years ago... who would've thought?
You get half a point here
, i misremembered slightly, she doesn't express anger, just unhappyness about the kiss.
Going back to "you read but don't understand" i didn't refer to her as an angry person in general... just that the stolen kiss didn't make her too happy about it.
And this was just to counter a guy who was making their pre-start of the game relationship to be much bigger than it actually was, saying that she always liked him when they never had much of a relationship outside of a stolen kiss she didn't even like(and the dude doesn't even remember, he thinks Iris was his first kiss).
If you wanted to counter my actual arguments focus on her being deceitful to the guy she likes and her best friend and her obssessive behaviour over a guy she doesn't have all that much history with
