i am not a noob, just asking..........
Solo runs are your best best to unlock all content for a character. Nyx messes with combination runs on purpose. Even then there are characters like Elena that will want you to be on Layla's route to even get scenes with. Then there are situations like Layla's hot tub party where you have to choose between Layla solo and the Layla/Elena scene (if you're also interested in Elena). The Riverside sisters (Nikki/Cara) don't seem to block most content, but there is a scene for Emily in the gallery that requires you to date one of them and then break up with them when they come to visit.

Less drama probably when Mel and Emily find out John is actually Mel's John and Erynn's father. Besides Mommy Brooke is a good option for Emily. Tho I don't think John dating Emily is a bad thing either as there was never any bad intentions behind it just be a little less messy for Mel and Emily but I don't think it would make things any worst for Erynn and MC's relationship. As Erynn likes Emily and knows she would never do something like that on purpose.
Oh fck i didn't think about John probably being Erynn's dad. So if im on Erynn's path she could potentially become my step-sister or if im on Iris's path she could also potentially become my step-sister. Damn, that's another two girls with a big drama potential. Also side note, funny how John kind of flirted with his daughter if you chose him to help her in previous episode

eh I think Returning the cellphone was fine. He couldn't unlock it why take the risk of getting some assault charges by not returning the phone, if the phone is no use the MC without someone that knows how to by pass the lock. Sure Ethan could be lying and press charges anyways but why take the risk when it's useless to the MC imo. I think taking the phone was the dumb move to begin with.
it's stupid is what it is. Press charges? Based on what? There were no witnesses. Even if he conjures up one of his goons to lie for him, MC just as easily could get someone to give him an alibi. The only real risk is him releasing the video, but as he said then Erynn is as good as gone from his business. Also MC could do the same to him, should have done it already actually. This whole plot is stupid anyway, should have been dealt with already, it's taking way too long, but I guess that's soap operas for you :ROFLMAO:

ah I assume there might of been some camera's or something but then again im not one to take a risk even if it's like 99% to be in my favor I don't like taking that 1% chance if it can end up with something serious like getting arrested. So because of that I didn't think it was worth it since he didn't know someone that could bypass the lock. Plus I never thought of the no witness thing just the moment I heard press charges my no risk mindset kicks in and I kind of don't think about it logically lol.

YEah the whole thing is dumb as rocks. Scared for her teaching career? Sorry beautiful, your semi-nude modelling career already destroyed that...and putting up with numbnuts is better than not having a teaching career? Like seriously...I get young kids are stupid these days but they are not that stupid. As for the 'solutions'...they dumber than the plot to begin with.

Is this a reflection of Nyx's writing skill or does she actually think/is under the belief the majority of her audience are that fucking stupid? (or a fave conspiricy of mine..is that this is actually a side story written by DPC....) Annoys the crap out of me...like you said, forgetting the few weeks of actual in-game time...we're 5 godamn years in....enough already....wrap it up so we can all move on with our lives...

Or at the very least, make it believable if going to continue to drag this shit out...

Thanks. I am trying this. The game is just complicated.

Erynn's entire plot is dumb from the get go and she had enough drama/connection with the MC over their past without it. How many teachers do you know that did modelling in college? Especially the type she's doing. As much as I hate the blackmail plot, I just know it's gonna get resolved in some asinine way that will make me cringe harder than the "He's my dad's...friend!" at the start of Ep 13.

Oops Mav beat me to it. :ROFLMAO:

Great minds JadeP...again! :WeSmart:

(It's actually the main reason I took a break from this a couple of years ago and stopped doing my walkthrough...just mind-numbingly stupid...despite me still actually likeing the VN...and it's STIIIIILLLLLLLL going on...and on...like a damn Ariston washing machine...).

only reason I even like the blackmail plot is because of the trauma it brings to Erynn's character. For me it makes her feel believable with how slow she goes and blueballs the MC. but from a plot point blackmail rarely ever works well with AVN's in general. Even when a dev things he thought of a way to make it works there is usually a plothole and this one is really dumb considering her career choice.

But yeah It needs to be done and over with soon

Thanks, i like Val, but she appears so late in the game that usually im already in another path, i assume that to get those scenes with her i have to reject all the other girls.
Just manage the points for the other LIs and they'll never approach you out of romance. There are certain overtly romantic choices you can make that either lead to love interest, or friend status. You can do it with Alexis, Erynn, Layla, Val, Niki, and Cara, for sure. If the points get too high they'll approach you. But if you don't go over the 'threshold' you'll just become (best) friends and they never express interest in you. In addition don't flirt or do anything overtly romantic and it won't trigger anything.

On any playthrough I can keep them all from wanting to, or asking, to date the MC.

What's funny is the camera's would show MC helping a woman being physically assaulted. So Ethan would basically send himself down in the process.

Damn, now I'm wondering why I like this so much. This is in my top 10 but if you put a gun to my head I'm not sure I could explain why. I guess I really just love branching AVNs.

I get what they mean though. Val is tricky to manage. You can't romance Layla obviously, but some scenes need you to be with Alexis. Then Ep13 has the Erynn/Val beach date, easy to dodge Erynn by managing her points but it's still a lot of work put in for a girl that doesn't have an "official" route.

very true like I said all logic on my end goes out of the window once I think about the risk involved. So the moment I thought a chance of possible jail time I was thinking to myself please give the phone back lol

#1 for me. For me it kind of boils down to the character / relationship building also with how playful the character feel has a certain charm to it I can't explain. Also a few characters give that virtual girlfriend feeling which is something I fucken love and rare to see in a AVN. So far Erynn and Lexi give me that feeling. Nikki also kind of is starting to gives me that feeling as well. so when a game does something I love to see with more than 1 character that I find rare to find in other games it's easy for me to explain.

1. If you're on her path then yes, on any other path it was John who intervened.
2. Probably to add content during the trip for anyone not on either Nikki or Cara paths.
1. Val can show up even if you are not on her path. If you have 13 or more points for Val she overrides John on that encounter and is always there.

Be the scum of the scum. Choose the choose scumiest possible decisions, you know... for drama. Watch the world burn. I am pretty sure by the end of the game, MC will be shot by a mob of angry women or one of them will Lorena Bobbit him.
nothing can beat monroe sisters (or half-sisters since not confirmed if both are from same father) telling to mc what a asshole he is unless it's lexi, erynn and iris beating mc at same time.

Alexis is easy to avoid romance. Don't visit her on the plane and don't hang out with her at the bar. Even if you accidentally started romancing her there are LOTS of ways in the first few episodes to stop it, the easiest being tell all details to Zach at the bar. Further in, when you meet Layla at the Pizza restaurant tell her all details should also end it. There are a number of others as well...

For Layla, just avoid a few critical moments and manage the points you gain, and she'll never try to romance you. If you show interest in Val, she even offers twice to help set you up with her.

You do not need to be on Alexis' path to romance Val unless you are going for the Secret path. I've got 4 Val playthroughs, and on all of them, none of the LIs have tried to romance MC.

U sure about that? I have 18 points with Val and John was the one who helped on my path. But could be because im dating Layla? Was still only friends with Erynn at that point so i don't think it has anything to do with her
