There's a few things to figure out:

• The person she trains with at the gym is never explained, and you see just arms. They have some sort of friendly/antagonistic relationship, as the mystery person slaps her ass, they act social, and asks for a photo to which Val emphatically replies no. He also jokes around with a half dozen different ways to say he has to go to the bathroom, to which she laughs at a couple of them.
• On her Beach Date, she says she hung out with a lot of guys on the track team, many of which she did physically mess around with (not lewd scenes, but wrestle, goof around with, etc.). Consistent with when she also says she was more tomboy-ish when younger. A gym training partner could be from past Track and Field.
• The guy (blanking on the name right now), during her story, that inappropriately touched her several times is the ones that shows up at the beach and lifts her up. He then jokes about having done it, which by the writing is what really sets her off. Also explains why she doesn't like being lifted as that was the first time he touched her.
• The person at the park who lifts her after one of the running "dates", is tough to tell who it could be. As she's looking the other way, she's likely not reacting to the lifting, but would be more the voice. For us it means nothing, as we don't have unique voices to listen to. Presumably it could be the person she trained with at the gym, the person who has touched her inappropriately

I don't think it's a boyfriend that she has, as even when she talks with her mom after the Photo booth her mom doesn't say "but what about..." when it comes out she has an interest in MC.

Layla, says twice that she's going to help set up MC with Val. Once before the training, at the photo booth, and one other time. Layla and Val become good training partners, and you can see them in the background at the ocean post-Erynn photoshoot running together. Layla doesn't seem like the type of person to try and set up two people if one was already in a relationship. But it could be a topic that neither discusses.

I can see your points. The guy she trains/hangs out with could just be some track team members. Her mom does mention the name Zane though after the photo booth scene. This is why im thinking it could be Zane, either he's just her friend she hangs around with or her boyfriend. As for Layla setting up MC and her, maybe Val just didn't tell her in which case Layla couldn't possibly know either way. Guess we may find out who it was down the line

No it doesn't seem to end either path yet I don't think, but you do lose a whopping 10 points with Erynn or 2 points with Val.

Still feels forced that he setup both dates for the same time... if you we could make this choice earlier you wouldn't feel like such a bad situation.
I also think that despite not handing us an obvious "route closed", it can still change scenes and give you worst options with the girl that didn't go to the beach.

Normally I'd say those 10 points will nuke you out of the next point check Nyx throws in for Erynn's relationship but Erynn has a ton of points now so maybe it's possible to eat the loss. I actually think Val's points are more critical, she doesn't have near as many and a lot of her thresholds (helping you with Ethan, the mall photoshoot) are extremely tight point wise.

Pretty much this... it's no big red "ROUTE CLOSED" sign, but effectively it might be.


On more general notes this episode was really good and the "back to school" episode should also be a banger on various routes.

First Val... what happened to her? How this story will proceed? It ups the stakes on stopping Ethan...

Layla, now that she's no longer a virgin can be friskier than ever on school grounds... this can lead to a lot of sad Elena looks and Gabi jealousy.

Gabi herself told the MC to wait until school restarted... let's see what happens now.

And Elena... still untangling the mess that is her path, might be the one i'm less entusiastic about...

Even Tori doing Tori things might be better than the shitshow that is the Elena path.


I would also like sometime this week(game time) to have a Mr Donovan class, i think it will be fun seeing the girls swooning over him making the MC jealous lol.

Last but not least, i hope Erynn's internship starts this week already.
Male students thirsty, girls a bit jealous, Erynn interacting with Zane...
And maybe Erynn still wanting to drive the MC after school.
This thing has potential to be so messy and so much fun.

So, quick question: If Andres is the devil for the ultimatum, then what does that make Emily, who sat on that information until she was scared that MC was going to leave again? Then she had the nerve to blame it on Andres like they hadn't been broken up for close to a decade.

Also, it's biological fact that women have periods. It had to come up sooner or later and it's more of a conspiracy theory crap that that scene was added just so they wouldn't constantly have sex. Note that the period didn't really interfere, MC still got a blowjob, Lexi told him she can't stay either way and MC was then physically absent for almost entire period and then they had sex when he came back. Jesus, claiming that this is some kind of proof for the "this is sex only!" mantra is nothing but desperate grasping for straws.

No, it didn't. It's been five weeks of game time, meaning that every single woman in the game has had a period, yet the only time that came up was regarding Alexis not being able to have sex. If you want to stick your head in the sand and ignore the obvious, that's on you. But Alexis clearly only talked about it for one reason.

Hot take: I don't see the hype in the Alexis path and I think is over-rated. I mean its good but, I just don't see it personally being better than the other girls paths. And if you son't follow her path she becomes irrelevant and disappears from the story for the most part.

I really hope for the Erynn driving the MC those are some of my favorite moments with her in previous chapters just cause it feels super nice and wholesome. Tho in the context of those scenes he was making sure he goes to school if I recall. But the other thins you mentioned would be nice. Tho if Erynn does end up being an Intern wonder what that means for the realtionship , cause I don't know if the MC can keep his hands off her yet don't want to get her in trouble either.

Yeah she was a weird one for me I didn't play her path for the longest time because of the sex then ended up loving it and her character. Yeah if the comedy misses you wouldn't like her content this update. For me I loved all the comedy otherwise yeah she wouldn't be my favorite 3rd favorite path in this update.

I think the plot in this story is getting messy or the author have lack of ideas how to proceed. For Eryn, how Ethan recorded that video, is Zane is involved in that (helped Ethan blackmail Eryn), why Eryn never questioned her self about the whole situation (it would be normal to be suspicious how that happened)... Little stupid is that one guy fucked hall town, have bunch of children and nobody know about it? Highly unlikely... Well, we still have to wait for some clarifications... but it's messy situation without resolve (at least normal one).

I thought this was one of her better episodes, i think she's better when it's not her and the MC alone and she has other characters to bounce off on.
This episode she had, her dad, Lakeyin, her mom, Layla which helped.

I do agree that she's quantity over quality overall.

I only played Gabi's path once truth be told never been that interested in her path the moment I found out she is a teacher. I find the Gabi path very interesting, and she often takes notice of your flirty actions towards other characters(tipically Layla, they are positioned as rivals).
And she definitely can be one who takes notice(and issue) of your closeness to Erynn.

And that's before the photoshoot starts being shared between students, the MC about to become a school legend lol.

One of the things I love about Intertwined is how it's setting up some competition or rivalry for the MC with the LI's, we see that especially in this episode.

We see Erynn being reconnected with Zane (Mr Donovan) just after the beach date with the MC. Erynn telling the MC about him being in for a surprise soon, when he jokes about her standing infront of a classroom during the date. I believe the surprise is that she is also going to be doing an internship at his school, just like Zane is doing. This will obviously cause them to be working together, which is certain to cause some major jealousy for the MC.

Nikki moving to Madison Springs, she says that she is probably going to try and find part time work at a gym there. I believe that Zane is gym guy that we see training with Val. We also see Zane say to his friend how he can't stop thinking about Nikki since seeing her at the beach bar with the MC, if you also go on Val's beach date while on Nikki path. I believe that Zane and Nikkis paths will cross at the gym no doubt.

So many developers are afraid to do this IMO, for the player to feel like there's a threat to the MC being "centre of the world" which of course he still is, but a bit of friendly rivalry is a good thing I think.
It also gives a "fuckboy" MC some consequences perhaps? If he is messing around with other girls and gets found out, he see's the girl he's been "dating" ride off into the sunset with someone else.

Yeah me too, I don't like when LI's are acting like Mc is the only man in the world. I mean it's good to have some competition.

I'm thinking I'm a picky little bitch. I just did the Val play-through, and it did nothing for me. MC came off as thirsty as hell, and I prefer Val's tomboy look over her girly look. I appreciate the progress made and the fact that we learned more about Val.
Now, onto the story proper. I believe nothing nefarious happened. I think Val's phone just died, and Ethan did nothing to her due to who her mom is, so he told Zach she'd be a problem.
Here's a random thought that occurred to me. I appreciate that Erryn checked up on MC when she heard about the breakup with Alexis. She was more worried about MC being fine than anything else.

Now, onto Mck Layla.

Layla is a cutie. Where Mira's clinginess was a turnoff, Layla makes it work. There has been no actual progress, and I do not know how the relationship will go, but there is a nice little sex scene. I imagine dating the Monroe sisters will hasten MC's acknowledgment by his father through the barbeque.
Elena's storyline sooked so much. She wasn't even in it. Getting the two best friends back together was important, but Elena could've at least made a cameo appearance.

damn not looking forward to that scene when I make my Val and Erynn save lol I deleted it as I had no idea what save was what when I re did my saves. But yeah I think we are about to get to the point in the game where you can consider it break up season if not on a solo path. I think alot of people are about to find out about some of the cheating going on. Might still be a few chances to avoid it I think but probably less often now.
