My own bias through preference would be to say Erynn but it's hard to say really, which do you prefer? You can romance both of them without much conflict (yet) from what I remember. You can also add Nikki, Cara or Gabi to the mix to make it extra spicy.
Combine them together
There haven't been a "moment of truth" that placed these 2 on opposite sides of the table and forced you to chose yet, so you can keep going with both of them for now.
There's a couple of optional exit points (only on the Erynn side), but i think the final chose now or be hated by both girls is still in the future.

I agree with you. Either your theory or Zach could also bait the MC into swinging on him before the MC tells everyone about Zach's betrayal (as our MC and the game is a telenovela of bad communication for drama's sake). This will get the MC into trouble with the ladies and the school administration.
