I don't have a problem with the Melissa scene because in all of my saves that are with specific LIs, I skip all the flirting that gains the Melissa points, so I only got the scene on the save I wanted it on. As far as the three choices Nyx mentions there though, only one of those is really related to Melissa. I did the other two on every single save because to me, they are the "right" choices to make for the two women involved, regardless of if you're trying to get on their path (and of course, one of them doesn't even have a path).

With the Emily one, obviously that is just the trigger for the scene, rather than a specific requirement that would get you there in any other circumstance (it's not the sort of thing that would gain you plus points with Melissa, unlike the Erynn one), so it's a bit different anyway.

Are you playing 14.1? That's a bug I believe in 14. The game automatically makes out like Emily went on the date with John in 14. I think that Nyx may have assumed that most would have let Emily go on the date.

yeah I mentioned that too a a while back that it automatically assumes Emily went on the date, didn't know there was a fix already.

Probably another mistake like in the last chapter when even if you were on good terms with Lexi there was no neutral interaction when you meet her with Lakeyn, either Lexi hated you or you were her boyfriend.

Yeah that was fixed in the 13.1 patch.

Yeah that was fixed in the 13.1 patch.

Yesterday I tried a Layla/Elena run, obviously starting with Lexi going out until it turns out she lied, then go with Layla (and Elena). And now at the pizza place Lexi introduces MC to Lakeyn as Layla's boyfriend, then when he leaves there's the revelation that he used to date Lexi.

added the patch, but I don't really like this change, stupid decision imo, why would the date and the Mel scene would be dependent on each other. Eh whatever, we need to redo it anyway, and since the Mel route seems to kick off anyway (at least I hope), I'll make a new one for her next time.

Sadly this bug gives Nyx yet another reason to mess everyones saves up in 15. I was hoping that she may change her mind.

I turned Erynn's Run into a shitshow with the excuse that with chapter 15 I had to redo everything, not to mention the promise of being able to do a save for Iris (or at least that's what I understood, have mercy and don't correct me if that wasn't the case)

Well now that Emily is highly unlikely to date John again, maybe that will be the route to Brooke? The MC want's to distract Emily so he can go and have more sexy time with Melissa, so he uses Brooke as a distraction?

That's what I mean - it wouldn't get you Melissa plus points like helping Erynn would, it's just there as the trigger to get the scene (because as you say, that's what makes her go off and you go over there to check on her).

For Mel it was a traumatic event and they had been drinking.. temporary insanity....
