Have you tried the animations mod in the OP (60FPS video mod under "Extras")? I have no idea if that would help it or not...

Have not tried Tony, will give it a go. Just seemed odd it is only those specific 3 animations. Used to happen on Layla pool toss too but seems that had been tweaked and works fine now. Never had animation problems on any other AVN so was curious. Thank you

I haven't tried the video mod myself, but the pool toss was (I think) the only one that used to cause me issues, so it's no surprise that one gets a mention. It never caused a crash, just lagged a bit at the start. I got to really notice it when speed-running the scene while setting up all my LI paths, which I'm looking forward to doing all over again whenever the next update lands...

So far there's no word that it's an abandoned arc.

It's just that Sha'Carri goes to a different school in a different city and has had only two chances to actually interact or be in proximity with the MC: training camp and the Nikki beach date.

If the MC is allowed to join the track meet relay tournament we should be seeing more of her there.

But I see your point that she almost feels like an abandoned arc with so many other main ladies, unconfirmed main ladies and side ladies.

But your question suddenly gave me some "Intertwined" thoughts:

- Sha'Carri runs for Palm City High.
- Gabi used to run for Palm City High before moving to Madison Springs to teach. Santiago took an interest in her as a talent (and probably also romantically) back then. She either got married to him or was in some kind of relationship that has recently ended.
- Santiago is now interested in Sha'Carri as a track and field talent.
- According to Darryl, Dani Ramirez, Gabi's sister, used to beat Sha'Carri all the time before the hit-and-run incident. And in soap opera fashion, I'm just speculating, it was Sha'Carri who ran over Dani and her mother haha.
- Was Santiago also interested in Dani as a talent?
- Gabi might know of or know Sha'Carri through Dani.
- Val is cordial with Sha'Carri as a rival.
- And Gianna is from Palm City. (Dylan mentions it in the bar.) Gianna probably knows Sha'Carri too. That would be a typical Nyx reveal.
- EDIT: There is tension between Tori and Sha'Carri.

So there's a lot of potential here for drama and it would be a shame to just let the Sha'Carri path die or be forgotten.

Will that weekend meet be enough or do we would need some kind of week long or at least a few days long track meet at Palm City High for more Sha'Carri scenes?

I try to only use URM so I wasn't even
thinking about the mod. That said I just did a load from the crash points after installing and it worked perfect. Thank you very much as I will finally be able to finish those paths.

I even have a few animations lag myself on a 4090 never crashed tho but really only bad if I ctrl skip past it but it only a 3 - 5 second delay.

If you add to multiquote (at the bottom right of a post), and then "insert quotes" when posting, it will give you all posts that you have added and not yet inserted or removed, regardless of what forum they were originally posted on. Darryl says it was strange the driver wasn't mentioned in the news, which implies someone rich or powerful enough to do that. Almost certainly wrong, there's no real evidence for it, but would be odd to specifically discuss the car crash if it's not important...

I agree. I've had the same thoughts as well. The fact that Nyx writes for Darryl to specifically discuss this means it has some bearing. It could be used to help wrap up the blackmail plot. It really fits Ethan as someone with a lot of connections and his dad is powerful so they could cover it up. More soap opera speculation. Was it a random hit-and-run incident where Ethan got careless or did Ethan try to recruit Dani but she declined?

The game is expected to end when the MC graduates high school or shortly after, i don't think it will extend into college.
Maybe during an ending fast forward, but no serious time in college.

As valbitterb said, Sha'cari is expected to be present at the next track race... No idea what kind of interactions we are going to get with her there.
She's been gone for so long that it kinda deflates any kind of interest honestly.

I expect her to be just another "trip mine" like Julia and Mira.
Fuck her, and other girls will find out...
Specially those who are from the track team... it's possible others who have a greater degree of separation like Alexis and Erynn never find out.

Personally i'm not sure it's such a good idea to have a factor that was just thrown in the last minute, and that at first glance doesn't connect with him in anyway, leading into Ethan going down.
Something like Rachel's murder, which has been a long term mistery is better for that IMO.

But hey as long as he's gone, it's alright.

If you stick to one LI in each playthrough it's probably one of the most wholesome AVNs out there, if you try chasing multiple LIs that's when things get tricky for you.

I hope we get Intertwined 2. After all this time and the progress Nyx has made, it would be a real shame to leave it all behind.
