It doesn’t really sit right with me that Alexis would show up with someone else if we’re on Layla’s route. We already know that MC is the first guy she’s ever brought home, which is a big deal for her. So bringing some random guy just to make someone jealous doesn’t make sense. If those lines hadn’t been said, I could understand it, but in this case, it would break the consistency of Alexis’s character development. Gabi fits much better as someone who could mess up Layla’s or Erynn’s route. Iris, on the other hand, would make more sense as the one invited to the barbecue — she could disrupt every route and add some spice.

You're right, Nyx made her "too pure", it's too much of a coincidence that she also finds a guy she really likes so suddenly...
With that said... the lines saying that Alexis never brought a guy home could be erased in the new script.

Who besides the family is gonna be present is the big question... Erynn? Iris? Gabi? are all possible and will add to the fun.
If the event even is the BBQ... not too long ago we were convinced the MC was uninvited.

I really hope Zane isn't much of a thing going forward with Erynn. Them having a chat and Erynn explaining what happened would be good, but not really much beyond that. She's been at the centre of the main story drama for so long with the blackmail. Once that's over I'd really prefer if she takes a bit more of a back seat and has a few updates of just enjoying being free and starting a happy relationship with MC without immediately jumping into Zane getting involved... Would be far more interested in him flirting with Nikki!

I don't expect a whole lot of Zane on a Erynn relationship path.
Technically they already ran into each other after the beach and she's still head over heels for the MC.

With the picture of Santi in her house and her splitting up with her partner that's obviously what Nyx is hinting at. Just feels a bit too obvious, like how she was hinting that Santi was Layla and Alexis' dad for a while. It's probably true, but also wouldn't be surprised if Santi isn't her ex at all and knows her in another way. Either way, it's an excuse for Gabi to be at the BBQ.

I think I'd prefer it if Nyx doesn't do this, although a bit on the fence. Obviously if you're not on their path there's nothing wrong with girls dating someone else, it's not like it's ntr or anything. But I think I'd find it really weird if, just as a random example, Erynn got back together with Zane on one of my non-Erynn saves. She wouldn't be doing anything wrong, but it would feel a little like she was cheating on my MC from my Erynn save! Kind of stupid and I'm sure I'd get over it.

True about Alexis, it would be a little odd. If she had another guy that she was ready to bring home and introduce to her family then we probably would have heard about him by now. Thinking about it, I think it's more likely that whatever this test event is happens on quite a specific route, not just a generic solo path. So maybe Alexis does something specifically on ASP, or Gabi does something only if you're sleeping with Gabi and Layla given the slight Gabi / Layla rivalry?

The idea of a LI ending up with someone else doesn't bother me, it's not like she would be dumping the MC for Zane...

Alexis is more difficult because it's a guy out of nowhere, it would have to be established first.
But like i said in the previous post, giving her a backstory with Zane would be quite easy.
Maybe instead of Alexis bringing a guy... Adriana invites Zane just because she likes him at work... and we catch a "sparks are flying" moment between Zane and Alexis.

All this discussion and in the end it could be just what Justaphase said, an AI animation test.

Erynn-Layla is no more... maybe the reason Nyx decided to kill the combo was exactly this scene, it would be impossible to do it with both of them present.

Alexis-Val is already a problem in the sense that we need to chose where we are gonna be since both events are simultaneous... neither girl will take it well being left behind at the last second.
No idea if lying to them both will play into it.

Iris could be a good disruptor to all the relationships 'cause she knows what makes the Mc tick and she's good in the eye too.
let's not forget that she's still in love with the Mc and we noticed it after we interact with her or with other women infront of her 'cause she gets jealous and if you hanky panky with her in the garage after Mc leaves , she looks sad and hugs John and John said to her just ask him? , more than likely she wants to ask the Mc to go back to were things left off.

supposedly the divorce timing was retconned too somewhat, originally she was still Mrs at the start of the game, but it was changed to Ms later on (I guess to avoid stepcest), though Nyx did a shit job with it, it's still not consistent throughout the game, sometimes she is still called Mrs.

I don't think that will happen, because in the ASP/Layla solo path it shows the player that boys are a foreign word in the Monroe household and gives the player an understanding of the importance of the MC there.

Yeah, I don't think I'd be that bothered really. I think there would probably be a dumb corner of my brain that would instinctively be annoyed, but rationally there's obviously no problem with it at all. Although I don't think it will happen. Even if it would be more realistic for the girls you're not interested in to go on other dates it feels like something that would rile up some players / supporters for no particular story benefit.

Hopefully she won’t look here or even know this channel exists. Honestly, I wouldn’t want AI in Intertwined. It would lose all its charm. Having fun on a separate channel is nice.

That was pure speculation on my part, Nyx has never mentioned anything to do with AI so I could be way off. I don't want to start freaking people out over nothing. I know that some can get rather sensitive about anything to do with AI.
However I think there are some clips I've seen on the fan art thread that could fit right in to the game and only enhance it IMO. Especially some of the posing phone type ones. Like when the MC is recording Nikki after the gym and she is posing for him.
I think the important thing would be not overdoing it.
