But that's a lot darker than the route she chose to take, and it would take almost a whole second game's worth of development time because everything would be so different.

I don't know about Nyx, but I personally don't really prefer this option, and I hate Ethan himself more and more.

I forget think Nyx said even that would be cut from the directors cut cause what she had planned was a bit too dark . The only things I recall that would make it was Alexis and Iris stuff with Ethan to try and help Erynn. That and I'm pretty sure Nyx said 1 or 2 LI had the chance to cheat on the MC im assuming this would only happen if you are a fuckboy. My guess was probably Nikki / Cara and maybe Erynn after she reconnects with her ex

I just realized something. dont know if im doing it subconciously or not. But if I pick muscle mommy, I stay on her path, if I pick cara, I fuck the weird looking blonde ( no not iris you biased against short-hair freaks).

My opinion: Julia only matters in the game if you're on the Cara path. Boffing Julia upsets Cara; I don't think anyone else cares so it doesn't matter on the other paths. Some sort of rivalry or frenemy thing between Julia and Cara...

well technically it be revenge cheating if it happened the way I see it. ( the MC lies about the panties and she later discovers the truth) but yeah her just cheating in any other context doesn't work to me for the directors cut.

The tags CHEATING and NETORARE have some differences because, in general, from the games I've played, they seem the same to me.

I've played games that only used the CHEATING tag and had elements similar or identical to games that prefer to use the NTR tag, such as swinging, cuckolds, hotwives...

For me, it doesn't matter which word is used, and sometimes both depend on the developer.

To me the two tags can mean different things. We in the West can't seem to agree on what NTR actually means so that could be part of the issue.

If the MC is unfaithful to his LI, that's cheating. If the LI is unfaithful to the MC but the MC never finds out... ...that's cheating.

NTR only happens when the LI betrays the MC, the MC learns about the betrayal, and the LI actually is stolen away from the MC.

So, NTR always is cheating but cheating is not always NTR. Hopefully that made sense?

Of course, I'm not Japanese so I may not understand it correctly, either.

Yeah, but you'd have to be literally brain dead to trust Ethan to keep his word, when he's already on record of promising Erynn he'd delete the blackmail video if she went to the prom with him, only to keep blackmailing her after she complied.

NTR doesn't require the protagonist to find out about it. A lot of games with this theme are of "mystery NTR" sort where the MC remains clueless about what is going on. The player might or might be given the view of what is happening, but it is not necessary, either.

NTR simply means a LI got to fuck someone other than the protagonist. Whether this is due to blackmail, seduction or other means. The difference in using the tags on this forum is mostly to let people know easier whether it's MC cheating on their partner (cheating) or if they're the one who gets cheated on (netorare).
