There's a lot at stake, she's our teacher, used to be married to the MCs father... It's destructive both to her career and personal level.
And then there's how she meshes with Layla and perhaps Erynn (once she finally becomes a teacher).
There's so much juice in seeing how Santiago, Emily, Adriana, Layla and Erynn react to the news that the MC has been fucking the teacher.

Even if Nyx has a change of heart and decides to give Gabi a happy ending i wanna see it go through this rocky road rather than smooth sailing.

only because we kinda have to this time If I could get to the new content instantly I would maybe check out the reworked shit later down the line, but certainly not right away.

I don't want too much drama. I know there should be a bit, like with other characters, but I want some smooth sailing, love story.

As for Nyx changing her mind, I don't even necessarily think its about changing her mind, but more she isn't revealing everything, like with Iris and Val too. I feel like a happy ending has been planned just like the other two too, Nyx just doesn't want to reveal they are officially LI's, I could be wrong sure, but I honestly believe this.

Gabi is top 4 of my girls in this game.(After Erynn it gets jumbled between the next 3, so she could be higher based on mood) Plus I know a sequel is planned at some point by Nyx(if she follows through) and would love to continue exploring the complex relationship more.
