I got to these questions after "what if Navarro is Santiago/Mc's dad/Gabi's likely husband/Alexis and Layla's dad all are same" which is the current cliffhanger. There are many plotholes in this case. I have structured everything it in order.
So, you know you have answered the questions, according to your assumption that Navarro is only MC's dad and explain your answers based on that and how dev might be right. Our both assumptions will never be right even if we know the story and played all paths. I think my 'maybe' cases are pulling your nerves. I guess. (I'm sorry )

In the beginning, My brain when MC knows Erynn, but not Alexis (Probably he forgot), Emily knows Adriana and Alexis coming to Melissa's house for Erynn since childhood, but never asked who is her husband for god sake (Probably she forgot to ask, but the husband loves the food at that restaurant). Melissa knows Alexis, but not asked about her dad even once (Probably she forgot to ask). Emily knows Santiago, but not his wife (Probably she forgot to ask). Gabi knows Adriana is Layla's mom, also sends layla to tutoring, but they don't talk (Probably they forgot to talk to each other). Emily knows Melissa, but not Erynn's dad (Probably she forgot to ask about one night stand).

Yeah, you clearly missed all the other decisions of Patreon. There're tons of such games there, even such shit like Summertime Saga which includes pure incest and a game with incest, sodomy, rape, underage porn, and more shit. Patreon avoids many things but nothing will happen if Navarro is Gabi's husband. They allow way more than you think and what that statement looks alike. The key is communication about the content with them and that's what Nyx constantly does in the past. But even if Navarro isn't Gabi's (soon-to-be-)husband. What does it matter? It wouldn't make the game worse.

I'd say it's a grey area to be honest. Yes Santi is MC's biological father so by that Gabi would technically be MC's stepmother by marriage. However as that's only incest by legality rather than blood then there's the question of whether it actually counts because MC's legal father is Andres, that's what's on his birth certificate, so there's actually no relation to Gabi through blood, or through legality because Santi isn't MC's legal father.

seems you missed some yourself too... where it all began patreon got deleted suddenly.
Patreon are probably going at it one by one and thoroughly analyzing each project retroactively. it takes a long time.
but going forward, all new content will have that new rule applied.
Sure, you can discuss and negotiate to flirt the line, and when the goal post move again, then your project is at risk all over again.
Why do you think Nyx is savagely changing the age ? i would bet she discussed it and wants to avoid being at any risk at all for the foreseeable future.
the same applies to incest/stepcest.

it doesn't make the finished game worse, but it severely diminishes the impact of cliffhangers, reveals and dramas, though. that's what i'm repeating here again. and those are part of the experience. so going for other plots and tropes would make for a better experience, at least for me. ymmv.

I wrote it mostly from in game perspective. I know it's quite dumb considering that in US people can have sex with step family. What I meant to say that when government don't know about something, they generally don't care and very few people(ingame) know about who is MC's father. Of course Patron won't care about it, so yeah writing it was quite dumb.

they changed the rules fairly recently to include stepfamily and extended family. they are still reviewing the existing projects, it's a long process to go over every line of text and every images/vifeos. I know "where it all began" got deleted, even though they didn't state it clearly as stepsister, stepmother, it was heavily implied. there is also the reference to underage sex, but the rules said it is ok as long as it is not depicted and stays in the past and in text form.

I'm sticking to that, because it's her livelyhood at stake. without Patreon and Steam, the income takes a massive dive, and affording the development of the game becomes a big gamble.

Most patches change the code simply to change "roommate" to "sister" (or any other incest hider like landlady/tenant/childhood friend) if the relationship shows when the character has dialogue and then change the script so that any mention of the relationship shows as the incestuous relationship. If only the script mentions the relationship and the labels on the dialogue when the character speaks just shows character name then only the script needs to be changed.

Because it's that easy to code the game without incest and then have it patched to have incest it's rare for an incest variable to be hidden in the code.
