That last update did feel like they were trying to keep Zach redeemable by having him basically think that MC is bullying Ethan. Zach is a fucking idiot to believe that lie, but I see what Nyx is going for.

Zach is naive, immature, and extremely gullible but he is not beyond redemption. The only thing he's really done wrong, beyond his inability to socialize with women, is beleive ethan and I strongly beleive that was based in jealousy and self pity. It's much easier to beleive someone else is at fault than look at yourself and admit fault. I'm thinking when ethan tries to pressure val into "giving zach a chance" it will come out that she's being blackmailer or whatever. Once that Zach realizes the type of person Ethan is he'kk come around, even if he doesn't earn forgiveness.

It’s even more impressive how she keeps such an intertwined story, so diverse and coherent.

Props to anyone running things solo and specially when it has potential.

To be with Elena, MC breaks Layla's heart. Layla then is not happy with Elena and ends their friendship (Lexi/Erynn similarities anyone?).

Elena gets mad at MC and says he had better repair what's going on with Layla, as her friendship with Layla is more important than the MC. Until MC can repair things in-story with Layla, I wouldn't expect any major progress on the Elena front. If anything she's probably avoiding the MC until that happens.

Far more optimistic than me. Once he decided to use his fist to MC's jaw, instead of his words, that ended any interest in a redemption arc from me. Had he just been sold on the lies and manipulation, that's one thing. But taking it physical, completely out of the blue, that was it for me. Should I get an option for a Fatality for Zach I'll be taking it every single time, just like Ethan.

He likes doing that to the Monroe sisters a lot apparently. His breakup with Alexis in the bathroom happens in a similar fashion with her saying wait and his continuing on his way

Alexis is the one path I honestly can't recall the MC having any miss understanding , since it seems to be Alexis the one jumping to conclusions / making the impulsive decisions first to me.

MC broke up with Lexi at the bar. Then at the pizzeria you have a couple prompts to help her with groceries, and forgive her at the car. She doesn't budge there. Then at their house you can go to her room and finally make up. The latter two locations both have options to permanently end her route.
