Not sure why, I just started the game and I have no background music or sounds. I checked my settings and its not on mute all and I have everything at max volume and nothing.

The weird thing is the start screen has music but as soon as I load my save, there is no sound at all. Anyone come across this at all?

it's because the game has barely any music or sound effects (yet). There is the main screen one, and one or two tracks here and there mostly towards the end of the game. Being worked on supposedly.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I was spoiled by Being a Dik LOL. That was my first game of this genre and I got used to having music for every scene. All good though!

Don't judge every game by BaD standards, you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment most of the time on your journey of trying other AVN's. Intertwined is one that I would rate as highly as BaD, it's better in some ways and worse in others IMO.
As far as music goes I tend to turn it off most of the time while playing and listen to my own, so having music or even background noise isn't that important to me.

Don't judge every game by BaD standards, you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment most of the time on your journey of trying other AVN's. Intertwined is one that I would rate as highly as BaD, it's better in some ways and worse in others IMO.
As far as music goes I tend to turn it off most of the time while playing and listen to my own, so having music or even background noise isn't that important to me.

on first pt I usually listen to what a game has to offer (if anything). If I like it and music fits the scenes I'll stick with it, otherwise same.

You're in for a great time, I'm almost jealous that you get to play so many great AVN's for the first time. This one will require multiple playthroughs to see all of the different paths with the different girls, much like BaD.

I'm hoping that by the time episode 15 comes around she will find another way that doesn't fuck peoples saves up. I love Iris as a character but doing that for her path when she isn't even a main girl seems a bit extreme to me.

i'm probably wrong but Im guessing / hoping saves will only break if you have a save on Alexis path where you went to the beach with Iris.

Love this one, but is she still rendering characters laughing with that weird squinting thing they do? Does every single character close their eyes and bow their head while laughing? It seems very strange to me. I know it's such a minor thing for me to focus on, but I can't help it, it's just odd in my opinion. Ever since I've first noticed it, I can no longer un-see it!

Sounds like it's the opposite, on the Alexis route you can have a flirty relationship with Iris.
The problem is when you don't have Alexis or ASP automatically makes Iris not interested.

It's not a huge difference yet, but if she's interested she says they should go for a bike ride together "like old times", if she's uninterested she just passes the phone to John(the scene in question is when we call John to go meet Ethan).

Yeah, the Layla crying scene was really painful.

As far as Iris is concerned, not only you lose the scenes of the changing room and the club by not having Alexis, Iris acts uninterested when you call the garage.
So it's a snowball effect, because you didn't get the points from the beach scene(because you weren't there), now Iris is disinterested in hanging out with you, despite the fact you done nothing to turn her off...

I think the beach and club scenes will stay Alexis dependant, but future ones should be open again.

That was one of the best heartbreak scenes ever depicted, in my opinion, in any media. I thought to myself, you are a piece of shit for making her feel that way.

It was really good and vvvverrrry painful how Nyx built the scene up with specific visual details.

The worst parts for me are when Layla pushes the MC away as the tears start to fall, she sobs in her room, into her hands - hiding her face - without bothering to take her heels off, Nyx then reveals her face for maximum impact for the gamer - tear smeared mascara running down her cheeks as she desperately calls out AND reaches out to Lexi like she's a lifeline as she enters the room, then that close up of her sobbing as she asks Lexi in that trembling voice, is there something wrong with me? (why doesn't he like me, she blames herself instead of the mc)

EDIT: Layla didn't want the MC to see her break down. So the MC didn't witness the full extent of her heartbreak. The MC got off easy.
